shuffleing the deck

In theory it is possible that whilst 'shuffling' a deck of cards, that the cards could be set into certain favourable positions; this expression is based upon such a premise.

Said when there is a suspicion that an outcome has been obtained in a prearranged fashion, usually by a specific person, directly involved.
Bob was an expert at shuffleing the deck; he got the two hot chicks on his team, again!

comment: Hey bro, the NZ Labour party managed to get elected again in 2008 for a 4th term with their infamous tax rebate.
response: shuffleing the deck man

it's like shuffling deck chairs on the titanic

Actually means: actions taken solely for the feeling (or the appearance) of doing something about an unavoidable situation; actions that not only accomplish nothing but *blatantly* accomplish nothing.
"Oh, look, now GM is trying to fire Wagoner. It's like shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic."

Snuffeling

The act of going to 'De Snuffel' in Bruges and getting pissdrunk, telling alot of shameful secrets (mostly about sex).

21-22: Happy Hour

carolina shufflenut

Whenever you transfer your testicle to the other side of your nutsack
“I heard Todd’s girlfriend gave him a real Carolina shufflenut last night
Yea I know he couldn’t walk”

Party rock shuffling

If you've seen it in the party rock anthem music video or on the Kia commercial and try to copy what they do, you are party rock shuffling.
Contrary to popular belief, Party rock anthem is not hardstyle music and this kind of shuffling is not real shuffling and will be laughed at by real, true, sfufflers.
If you still don't understand the difference, look up some videos and tutorials on YouTube and prepare to be blown away
Party rock shuffler: Every day I'm...

Real shuffler: Finish that sentence and I'll cut your legs off. God I am so sick of this party rock shuffling crap...

Paper-shuffling

Paper-shuffling is a prevalent practice in the bureaucratic systems. It refers to the time-consuming circulation of papers and documents in an office without contributing much to the system itself.
“People could work in parks, in maintenance, the many paper-shuffling jobs there are in government." (The Washington Post)
