that have sprung up around the world is precisely defense of one's own community. Notions of community sovereignty and self-determination are the core founding principles that uphold the "gangsta" philosophy. Of course, notions of sovereignty, self-determination, and autonomy are closely tied to the principle of a self-sustaining economy, which in a capitalist context such as the U.S., requires all gangstas to find a way to provide for themselves and for the gangsta unit. The most common resource that is utilized is of course commerce in contraband: illegal drugs, prostitution, and firearms. Because illicit commerce requires the gangsta to work outside of the law, a law which the resisitance movement often does not recognize as legitimate because it was imposed on them by an outside conquering force, different norms have evolved that regulate transactions and behavior between "gangstas". Among those norms are the "pass" and the requirement that one "keep it real with a brother". As the gangsta subculture was incorporated into American Pop Culture, and inevitably purchased and reformulated for mass consumption by corporate interests, certain principles were exaggerated in order to sell the danger and excitement of the gangsta lifestyle without giving the public any reference to understand gangstaism as a holistic set of principles. | 17. | Israeli Occupation of PALESTINE | ||
|
June 1967: The Israeli military under massive unprovoked attack from Arab armies intent on destroying the State of Israel, defended itself against, Syrian, Jordanian and Egyptian armies on the West Bank of the River Jordan and East Jerusalem (belonging then to Jordan)and Gaza (belonging then to the Egyptians). This region was an area sparsely populated by nomadic tribes, some Arabs and some Jews since the destruction of the area the Romans called Philistina. The Israelis won the areas now known as the "occupied territories," in the 6 day war of 1967. Any territory won by a country in war in which they were not the aggressor is legitimate to occupy.
In terms of occupation, Israel on the whole does not wish to unduly disadvantage the inhabitants of the territories but in the face of those who would wish to see the destruction of the State of Israel and the Jewish people residing within it, has had to defend itself against elements who would seek to do just that. If the inhabitants had not fled their homes in the war of Israeli independence 1947 - 1949 following the UN resolution giving both Jews and Arabs in the British Mandate of Palestine a State and Self-Determination for both parties, maybe Jews and Arabs could have lived at peace here for the last 57 years. |

Biafrans are people of the eastern part of Nigeria mostly Igbos. Background In 1967, Igbos and other eastern part of Nigeria, lead by then Col. Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu declared eastern Nigeria a Sovereign state of Biafra. This led to the three years Nigerian-Biafran Civil war in which millions were slaughter in a fight for self-determination. The Nigeria underestimated the young country and thought that the war would last for three weeks. Instead, weeks turned months and months turned years. It took Nigeria three years to defeat Biafra. Biafrans were reintegrated into Nigeria again as One-Nigeria Most of Nigerian oil reserves are located at the Bright of Biafra. That is why Nigeria went to war with Biafra. The best sport in the world. Professional "wrestling" is a bunch of bullshit.
It requires hard work, self confidence, self determination, and personal sacrifice. It teaches life long lessons and skills that no other sport can. Once you have wrested, everything else in life is easy.

you have known the individual long enough to get to know them for who they really are and what they believe in; in which time you develop deep feelings for them as far as caring about their wellbeing and wanting to constantly be with them After knowing Roderic for more than 5 years I fell in love with him because of his witiness and self-determination to accomplish goals set before him.
