on the last sunday in October, the clocks get rolled back, so on the saturday night before an extra hour can be gained before bars legally have to close. Often coincides with halloween weekend, and the added time makes it one of the greatest nights of the year to go bar hopping, the reverse happens in the spring, so just go to house parties, and at least then it's not around a huge party holiday

Some BS invented a long time ago by some bitch ass that robs an hour of sleep from all of us when we least expect it.
Also something that has deprived mankind of over 1 year and 135 days of time. (We lose a day every four years do the math)

Gay light savings time 

The amount of time that should be taken into account for a homosexual male to be fashionably late, generaly about fifteen minutes.
Of course no ones here yet, you have to remember gay light savings time.

Jay Light Savings Time  

Updating clocks 30 minutes to circumvent the whole DST farce.
Why dont we just change clocks 30 minutes right now, and get it over with. No more spring forward, fall back, spring back, fall forward, whatever. Just plain ole JST ... Jay Light Savings Time

Filipino Savings Time (FST) 

(noun) refers to the adjustment made on the actual expected time to account for Filipino time.
Mark wants to start his show at exactly 8:00PM and expects everyone to be there already. Since his audience might consist of Filipinos, he announces his show to start at Filipino Savings Time (FST) 7:00PM instead, taking to consider the usual Filipino Time.
