| 1. | Platinum rule | ||
|
An expression that was used in How I Met Your Mother.
It's a warning that is trying to avoid dating with people you have to work with, be in the classroom or people employed in your favorite pub, gym, club... Or a friendship with your new neighbours. Platinum rule has 8 steps. Step 1: Attraction - it's so easy to surrender. Step 2: Bargaining - the time when you try to persuade your friends that platinum rule doesn't apply on you. Step 3: Submission - everyhing seems alright. Step 4: Perks - like: we can be together all the time - but that's crazy... Step 5: The Tipping Point - now you realize that maybe it was a big mistake. Step 6: Purgatory - now you know for sure that it was a big mistake. Step 7: Confrontation - time to end the relationship or friendship. Normally starting with words: Well, I really like you but ... Step 8: Fallout - because it's a person that you have to work with you must face the consequences connected to what happend between you. Maybe there is also Step 9: Rescue - everything should be ok since this point. X: Oh, i met a great girl today at work. And she's really hot. I would like to go on a date wit...
Y: Forget it, don't you know the platinum rule? X: What rule? Y: I'll explain it to you. Step 1...... |

|
Referring to road head, this is usually used in a sentence when someone is talking about a car ride with a girl. guy 2: did she follow the rule of the road? guy 1: naw, she gave me $10 bill: i gave sarah a ride to wal mart earlier. jimmy: you use the rule of the road? bill: yeah, she tried to stop by an ATM to give me cash but i refused and made her sucky sucky |

| 5. | E&Y | ||
|
If you have no morals, no backbone, and no experience (Oh yeah and if your a fag) you can definitely work here. Fags rule at this place. They act more feminine than the woman. They preach diversity (I'm thinking race), no they mean all fags and dikes work here. I am speaking from a support staff point of view, but I'm sure looking at the Auditors they were just as unhappy as I was. They moved a fag from Dallas all the way to Chicago and he didn't know a thing. Maybe he did alot of work on his knees to move up to the top!!!! If you're working at e&y, you probably are miserable

| 6. | K-O-Y rule | ||
|
k-o-y rule is a simple and effective method on popular applications such as Facebook chat or AIM to get annoying people to fuck off. Basically, all you do is respond "k", "o", and "y" after everything the annoying person says. They will realize that your one letter responses seem to show lack of interest in the subject at hand. Repeat if intended subject isn't fucking off K-O-Y rule in action:
Example 1: Jack: Hey Phillip! Phillip: k Jack: Wanna hang out? Phillip: o Jack: Well I didn't mean to be a bother... Phillip: y Jack: I'M LONELY OKAY? Phillip: k Example 2: David: ...and then Julie started acting strange Phillip: k David: But I didn't finish. Phillip: o David: Will you stop with that?? Phillip: y |

| 7. | The X+1 Rule | ||
|
X is you, and Y is the person you are referring to. Y will always be one more than you are, no matter what, and is always better, sadly for you. "I hate Joe so much. He always hits me with the X+1 Rule on the field.... He just always HAS to do it better than me."
