born ruffians

A band of boys who were born ruffians but are now, thankfully, tame. They hail from a small town Midland, in Ontario, Canada. The band now lives in Toronto and plays local shows regularily. Luke Lalonde, Steve Hamelin and Mitch DeRosier rock out on the electric guitar, bass and drums, with the occasionnal random percussion or trombone.
They play an awesome, very original indie rock style and have said that they sound like pre-punk new-wave dance-folk love-making...with guitar. You can check out their music on their MySpace profile; www.myspace.com/bornruffians
Enjoy.

The border ruffians clashed with police yesterday as they started a full-scale riot.

Border Ruffians

A group of radicalized Democrats, leftists and Liberals who goes from state to state to cause trouble with local communities and also violent riots throughout the United States. Border Ruffians were originally pro-slavery activists from the slave state of Missouri, who in 1854 to 1860 crossed the state border into Kansas Territory to force the acceptance of slavery there.
Border Ruffians are a riotous bunch of idiots!

Dubious Ruffian

Jim just had sex with a hampster, what a dubious ruffian.
Dubious Ruffian by JROD12345678910 October 27, 2009
1975 Filly Triple Crown winner who never lost a race against other fillies, but unfortunately had to be euthanised after breaking down in a match race against Foolish Pleasure. She broke a leg and wanted to keep on running. Shortly after a desperate attempt to re-construct her leg she awoke from anesthesia, breaking her cast. She was put to sleep and buried in the infield at Belmont Park, her head facing the finish line. Greatest thoroughbred filly of my lifetime--and in my opinion--anyone else's.
While Ruffian would have beaten Winning Colors, Genuine Risk, Personal Ensign, Go for Wand, Bayakoa and Regret, she may have had trouble with Secretariat.
