Nu-Core is a Steriotype that falls under this deffinition: A follower of the nu-core scene is into nu-metal, such as emo style bands, and crappy no talent punk bands that play nothing but power chords because they dont know enough about music to write anything talented. either that or hardcore music, such as those bands that you would go to a concert and see the "bandana boys" you know the bull shit thrashers who think they are dancing by flailing about and punching people who are there for music in the face.
Nu-Core is probably now a days (2006) refering to the 8th grade crap, with the emo look, the crap music. Nu-Core are those people who are influinced by Music Television, and the media. NOT to be confused with metal heads, rockers, etc. ... hey look at that lil bitch!

Pretty much the most rockin group of kids after made up of Miranda, Nina, Mike, and Nick. Modeled after the Core Four of Fox's hit series The OC; Miranda as Ryan Atwood, Nina as Seth Cohen, Mike as Marissa Cooper, and Nick as Summer Roberts. Their future is so flippin' bright, you need sunglasses. They have been known to say such things as, "Get over it!", "You can make it dance...", and "Congratulations!". I wish I was in the Core Four.

J-core is a term, used to define japaneese rapcore. The bands, that play in this genre are: Typhoon24 (with Tatsuzo from YKZ), YKZ, Rize, Foojin etc. YKZs the j-core band, they rock.

Following the trend of prefixing a genre name with J- to signify Japanese origin (eg J-pop, J-rock etc.), J-core is an abbreviated term for Japanese hardcore dance music.
Though many only associate this term with artists such as DJ Sharpnel who are well known for their very Japanese-flavoured anime/film sampling hardcore, the umbrella term can be used to describe many kinds of Japanese-flavoured hardcore, such as happy hardcore, freeform, speedcore and terrorcore. This term can sometimes be used to describe hardcore punk music from Japan as well as just hardcore electronic/dance music. Notable J-core artists include DJ Shimamura, Buzzmasta, M-Project, DJ Chucky, DJ Technorch, DJ Sharpnel and REDALiCE.
