A derogatory term that befits individuals who find pictures of anthropomorhpic creatures erotic and / or awe-inspiring.

Unfortunately there is no one definition for a furry, so this will break down the stages that a human goes through to become a furry:

1. An individual finds a species of animal particularly interesting or beautiful, and begins to seek works that include this animal. This may range from artwork, books, or fiction from various authors. No quirks have been noted at this stage, but the individuals affection with the creature begins to grow beyond the bounds of admiration and into something far, far more sinister.

2. The individual meets other individuals who share a common ground with the animal in question. They begin to discuss in great detail about the animal and aspects of the animal they find fascinating. They may go so far to say that they would like those aspects as a part of themselves. They begin to find or make works of their own about the creature, becoming more and more detailed with each project. Admiration slips into affection, and from affection to pure, raw, lust.

(Note that at this stage the furry is still of a human mind, though slightly bewildered. Most furries are at this stage.)

3. The individuals expresses a unnatural desire for the animal in question. To appease their increasing need for self-satisfaction, the individuals find or make works of the animal in a human-esque form, usually in poses that most rational people wo...

DNA was a great no wave band that is partially responsible, along with various forms of punk (proto, post, etc.), for the recent emergence from new york of groups like liars, radio 4 and the rapture. they respresented a wilfully awkward, energetic, form of punk rock that left an empty field of potential where modern conventional, scruffy boy, third rate rock and roll (green day, strokes, etc) should attempt to inhabit. A japanese anime which has been subtitled in English by fans and released by one of many fansubbing "groups". Typically these are series which have not been licensed for release in an English format, and hence releasing them is unlikely to result in legal action (although it is still technically illegal under international law.)

Typically, once a series becomes licensed for release in an English format, many fansubbing groups will cease subtitling of that anime, for fear of legal action. However, some rogue groups will subtitle licensed anime.

A substantial subculture of crackers refer to themselves as `warez d00dz'; there is evidently some connection with B1FF here. As `Ozone Pilot', one formerwarez d00d, wrote:

The studly thing to do if one is a warez d00d, it appears, is emit `0-day warez', that is copies of commercial software copied and cracked on the same day as its retail release. Warez d00ds also hoard software in a big way, collecting untold megabytes of arcade-style games, pornographic JPGs, and applications they'll never use onto their hard disks. The fact that testicles are at the very centre of male sexuality and the sex act and pregnancy itself, seems to add an extra sexual dimension; many women and girls become sexually aroused at both the prospect of causing testicular pain and the actual act of doing so.
