A slang used to describe someone that is a centerpiece or leader of a squad. They're in the loop with every plug in town and regularly have hookups. Since redtop can be used to refer to weed, alcohol, cocaine, or heightened status, it is an extreme compliment to refer to someone as being a redtop.
