Something that, after encountering, makes others of the same sort lessen in intensity.

The word is meant to describe something that makes all others seem less or more than they really are.
A piece of candy is redigenous to an apple; meaning that after consuming the over-sweet candy, the taste of the apple lessens in sweetness.

Another example: The extreme sportsman is the most redigenous person I've ever met; meaning that the extreme sportsman is a person who makes others seem boring.

Last example: That store has the most redigenous prices I've ever seen!
This could mean that the store is so cheap that even usually cheap places seem expensive in comparison, or
that the store is so expensive that even usually expensive places seem cheap in comparison.
