A dandelion-like weed that has Earl Pickles' face. Often it is not quite grown revealing a bald piece in the middle of its head. It is often killed by spraying a blow torch at it, firecrackers, or some other form of weed poison. Earlweed greens are also delicious to eat. So when you see a flower you just can't defeat, chances are it is an Earlweed!

Originally a broader,more experimental offshoot of Hardcore Punk,but closer under the umbrella of 'Indie-rock',it traces its roots back to the time of the Revolution Summer (1985) when bands such as Rites of Spring and Gray Matter helped establish this genre along with the then,barely-coined ''emocore'' (which is why today,people still like to say that Post-Hardcore is 'emo',even if they don't even know these bands).
Soon enough,more Post-Hardcore bands were formed,such as the highly influencal Fugazi,Nation of Ulysses,Jawbox and Shudder to Think.
Many bands took influence from the 'noise rock' sound from Sonic Youth and Big Black.

As the 90's approached,post-hardcore found its way to a wider audience,with Quicksand and Drive Like Jehu signing to major labels and Fugazi still influencing bands by the masses.
Then came Hot Water Music,Cursive,and Small Brown Bike.
More bands formed towards the end of the nineties including the highly energetic At The Drive-in,Thursday and the Blood Brothers.

It then became bad.Horrible bands with horrible pig snorted screaming were crawling their way onto the cover of Kerrang! Magazine.
Enter Shikari,Alesana,Silverstein,The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus,Hawthorne Heights and From First To Last were obsessed over by 13 year olds and marketed as 'emo'.
The only good thing left was Thursday.

Its sad really.What mainstream did to destroy Emo,Indie Rock,Post Hardcore,Screamo,and Pop punk...

A bogan is someone commonly found in Australia, or to be more precise, in the island state below Australia- Tasmania.
Bogans can be found usually residing in housing commision areas, outskirts of towns, generally highly suburban areas. They usually live in large groups of grey or red brick or besablock homes but only reside in thier own houses when they become too old or too fat or when they need to steal some of thier parents cigarettes/ money.
There are several bogan variations,but I have decided to cover one main group; young female bogans.
Young female bogan teens like to spend most of thier time running away from thier homes to go and 'hang out' with thier boyfriends, this is usually done when they are supposed to be at school. They usually wear tight jeans, a miniskirt over the top, a large 80's style belt, pink uggh boots, a tight shirt, a whole tube of mascara, an entire pallete of black eye-shadow, a few tubs of foundation and they usually like to have thier badly bleached hair tied up into a pony tail, although several of them have discovered that stealing thier boyfriends ford cap covers thier black roots. They are those girls that everyone in school thinks is classy, but really they end up with dead end jobs, 4 children by the age of 18, an abusive husband/s, lung cancer and several other problems.
