When elected office is up for bid, up for being bought by the highest bidder, an elauction is under way. Elauction indicates the primary role of money (and the principal bearers of money known as billionaires) in supposedly democratic elections. The term, elauction, represents how the oligarchy, known these days as billionaires (or Billionaire Overlords) is able to buy elections. When $100 million is spent to prop up a Governor who has been subjected to a recall, while a paltry $4 million is spent by the challenger, we are certainly witnessing an elauction.
When each candidate is a mere face, a mere facade for billionaire backers, an elauction is under way. Who will win the elauction? The highest bidder, or the highest so-called 'contributor' will of course buy the elauction. |

1. A bloody dictator from the Latin American country of Venezuela. Despite his murderous, tyranical and corrupt regime, he has allowed a recall referendum, and has been elected 3 times by an overwhelming percentage of Venezuelans, who -we are told- hate him more than anyone else in the world.
2. The President of Venezuela, despised by 95% of the corporate media, business groups, and pro "free market" governments. His biggest detractors are the rich Venezuelans, the Miami mafia and the Bush administration. 3. Chaves, Brazilian name for "El Chavo del Ocho", a Mexican sitcom from the 70s and 80s. Jorge: I hate that fucking Chavez!! We must overthrow him and restore democracy!!

Ratso is an acronym for "Rip All The Shit Out" and is used by disgruntled voters expressing their desire to rid government of ineffective or dishonest elected officials. The County Commissioners are a useless group of morons and the voters need to RATSO in the upcoming elections to restore government back to the people!
