The only term one can use to describe the stench eminating from a Raver after a party. The odor in question is usually a combination of sweat, B.O., smoke, body spray, deoderant, and anything else encountered during the endless hours of dancing in a single night.
1. The car was being hot-boxed with Raver-funk on the car ride home from the party.
2. Her favorite pair of phat pants permanently reeked of Raver-funk.
3. "I can taste the Raver-funk!"
Refers to the soiled, vestigial mixture of dirt, sweat, spit, and other substances or liquids collected at the bottom of one's Jncos, Kikwears, or other wide-legged pant cuffs at the end of a night, or early morning, of partying or raving, particularly in a warehouse. Other materials collected on pant cuffs include globs of chewed gum, or even stickers that have come off candy ravers' sweaty faces and fallen to the floor. Rave funk is often accompanied by a dreadful scent mixing perspiration, mud, wet feet, Vicks Vapo Rub, or perhaps lotion, if one was rolling around in an e-puddle earlier that night.
After we emerged from the Home Base warehouse into the parking lot at 8 a.m. after a long, bass-filled night of San Francisco trance, I looked down as I dragged my Adidas Shell-Toes across the pavement and realized I had rave funk covering the bottoms of my pants.
An old kind of dancing that resembles a robot. It remains semi-popular today.more...
This can take many different shapes and forms. For example, you could be the standard-lame-person-who-can't-dance and just move your arms up and down in a stiff manner while moving your head around in a robotic fashion. This method is generally frowned upon as n00bish. While this basic kind of robot dancing is lame, a good robot dancer can turn heads even today. Deft control of the wrists, elbows, shoulders, waist, knees, feet, spine, neck, head, eyes, and mouth are required for an expert at the robot. This movement apearing like a robot can be as smooth or jittery as the music allows. Generally works best with most kinds of electronic music, but much straight beat rock and funk works just as well. BPM (tempo) ranges may vary with the dancing style.
All names of Moves and Sub Styles are made up. The moves and styles still exist, however.
Some "The Robot" Moves:
"Hydrolics" - going from stiff to limp at will.
"Liquid Robot" - jittering liquid dance that resembles a strobe light effect.
"Stutter" - moving back and forth between two positions rapidly, making the dancer look like a frozen VHS screen.
"The Man in a Robot Suit" - danger will robinson!
"Industrial Robot" - Much meaner and stiffer.
"The Funky Robot" - It's a robot that doesn't care to look like a robot, but isn't really that great of a dancer.
"The Glitch Robot" - An excessive ammount of stuttering occu...
