Ratchicken is the colloquial term for chicken served at fast food or other pseudo-restaurant establishment. It is characterized by lowest grade quality of meat, relatively low price, foul taste, and the capacity to fill a person up. Due to its low quality, it is common knowledge, that this ‘chicken’ is in fact made of street rat meat.
“Yo, dude, I am starving, is there any food joint nearby?”
“Ya, we can grab some ratchicken from Popey’s on the way.”
Popey’s manager: “Did the rats arrive?”
Dubro worker “Ummm.,.hmmm.. yeahhh”
Manager: “Quick, fry them and spice them up, so the ratchicken is ready when we open.
