Regular Racism: Prejudice from one race to another, usually based on stereotypes.
American Racism: White people who hate black people Another common american term for Racism: White people who are proud of their heritage (Though I'll admit it's not really something to be proud of.) Stereotypes good and bad, You find the racism;
Black: My dad was a civil rights leader! Bad black: My dad's a gangster! Asian:We helped build canals in america! Azn: I'M AN anNoYinG N00b! White: We established America. Bad White: And now we're going to take away everything it stands for! Hispanic: I am an upstanding citizen and work very hard for minimal payment. Bad Hispanic: My dad's a gangster. I could go on. |

1. Something only white people can do, and no white person is capable of NOT doing. The definition *is* an example of racism, because see, the worst racism is the kind *only the victims have a problem with.* If only white folks are complaining that other folks are being racist toward them, well we probably are. And if you think they "deserve" it, maybe you think White people live for hundreds of years, too. Nobody alive today in this country was ever a slave, and nobody alive today in this country ever owned one.

state of mind in which one thinks he or she is better than members of another race because they are a different race This country was not founded on equality of men, it was founded by racist slave owners who worked hard and fought for everything they had.
If the group of blacks scores lowest on the standardized tests, it is not racist to say that they are stupid. |

Racism is oppression based on racial hierarchy.
Bigots come in all races, but by definition, black people (for example) cannot be racist to a white person. Some non-white people do "play the race card." However, I'll point out that white people "play the race card" every day of their lives. They may not know it, but they do. Such is the privilege of being white in this country. -Luke Visconti The legacy of slavery has benefited every white person in this country—directly and personally. In a very gross analogy, if you run a series of foot races over 300 years but prevent 13 percent of the participants from learning how to run for 180 years and then give them concrete sneakers for another 80 years—but allow them full access for 40 years, it will take the 13 percent quite a few races to be competitive because the other 87 percent advanced their skills by practice and repetition.
Life is not a foot race, but it is a fact that the average white person would not economically benefit from switching places with an average black person (black households average one-tenth the household wealth of white households). If you believe all people are created equal, there has to be a reason for this—and there is: racism. -Luke Visconti |

The reason behind David Stern's new age limit to be allowed to play in the NBA. Man, that new NBA age limit imposed by David Stern is motivated by racism!
