A genre of music that is a softer form of Punk. A mainstream bastardization of punk. An oxy-moron of the genre it claims influence from.
Pop-Punk is a damning genre to the punk culture.
4. punk
A punk girl is like any other punk. She dresses how she wants, has very strong feelings about issues and authority, and is actually usually pretty happy. Punks usually play in some sort of awesome punk rock (or just punk) band. Common punk instruments are guitars and drums. They usually have colors in their hair. Punks like to be creative and try out new things, and they hated it when pop culture took over and it became 'cool' to be punk. Because being punk is being different and not 'blending in to the crowd'. Thanks for reading.

a form of punk culture more associated with real punk (NOT afi and green day)bands, leather jackets are a staple of street punk fashion, aften adorned with pins,patches,studs and paintings of band logos. street punks typically are interested in all types of punk,'77, uk82 and oi!. tight stretch jean s, bondage pants,denim jackets with studs, pins and patches,doc martens,creepers, and converse are also commonly worn. street punk is now a term to describe real punks, who dont fit with mainstream society.Common hairstyles are ,short n spiky,mowhawks,liberty spikes, and buzzcuts. though punks may appear tough or dangerous. they are usually quite nice and open minded. punk is about doing your own thing.

6. Crust Punk Gypsy
A reaction against the hipster culture; distinguished by their affiliation with awareness groups, use of vintage bicycles, unkept/unruly hair, preference for organic/fair trade/locally grown/vegetarian/vegan food, and dress of a gypsy-like quality. The abhor anything westernized. Their political affiliation tends to swing to either socialism/communism/anarchy (with the exception of Barack Obama.) They spend their time hula hooping (or firedancing), smoking clove cigarettes/hookah, and shopping at the local ethnic market place. Must be obsessed with diversity but friendship circle must consist of all white people...

7. Eco-Punk
Someone of the Punk culture who feels as though the eco system of the Earth should be preserved to the utmost.
That Eco-Punk really cares about the rain forest.
