It is often done subtlety, by wearing clothing that becomes transparent when viewed under bright light or flashbulbs. Sometimes it is less subtle, maybe by wearing revealing clothing with no undergarments. Former child actress, Lindsey Lohan engaged in publiciterotica to break out of her "child star" status, by often appearing in public, sans bra or panties, where ever paparazzi were present.
