2. socratic immunity
The privilege a law student asks for so that he is not called on in class for the day. A student may give either an excuse or a justification for this request, preferably by email ahead of time, or in person right before class. The term is called "Socratic" immunity because most professors in law school use the Socratic method of teaching, grilling a student with questions for ten minutes of class or more.
Socratic immunity is critical because most law school professors count class participation as at least a small factor in a student's grade.

5. Longwood University
Longwood University is generally good school overall. There are many very nice people who go there, and many of them are very intellegient. Their professors often provide challenging and thought-provoking material in their classes, and many students work very hard to achieve good grades at Longwood. In fact, Longwood is probably the best place to be if you want to be a teacher. However, Longwood contains a huge inferiority complex concerning Hampden-Sydney. This complex is not necessarily an academic one shared by all students; rather, it is one harbored by a large number of the males who attend Longwood. Longwood men constantly struggle to assert their superiority to Hampden-Sydney men, but every weekend scores of their Longwood women flock to Hampden-Sydney, leaving the men of Longwood confused and angry. Many Longwood men attempt to convince themselves that these are only naive young ladies, who are unaware of the dangers of the Hampden-Sydney men, when in fact women from every class at Longwood continue to visit Hampden-Sydney. It seems that the men of Longwood are so inept that Longwood women are willing risk the dangers of Hamdpen-Sydney. Additionaly, ...

6. MSOE
The Milwaukee School of Engineering. Basically a school of introverted students and professors. Efforts to bring femaales to the school have failed with the exception of a select few. Not that it matters as you would never have time to interact with the females while you are getting rammed with car, SDL, and formal methods. The school prides itself on being 100 times harder than any other school on earth, making their graduates uber eliete. Unfortunately, buisnesses like diversity so still hire public school computer science majors, who partied, had sex and fun all through school, and they get paid the same. Not to mention the school costs 5 times that of a public school.
Rand(Time(0)); Teacher: The students are smiling, I must meet with the other professors and make everything due at the same time because MSOE is supposed to suck.
-------
Student (doing homework): If I had a gun right now I would so shoot someone.
-------
Teacher: Why are your hands shaking
Student: Because I have been up 36 hours working on your lab.
Teacher: Why doesn't it work?

7. professor
A person who is an expert at his or her field of study.
Professors do not have a degree in education or teaching.
Matter of fact, I don't know why the silly bastards are allowed to teach without a degree in education.
Want to know why Professors suck at grading? Because they were never taught how to grade...They were not taught how to teach.
