When you realizing what/who you're leaving behind as you go on vacation and missing it/them already. Megan is going to Vietnam. A week before she leaves school, reality hits her that she won't see her friends/best friend for a long time. She develops pre-vacation syndrome (PRVS) and feels "out of place", and begins missing her best friends before she even leaves.
