positron

An elementary particle similar to an electron, except that it has a positive charge instead of a negative charge. It is an antiparticle, which is a particle that forms antimatter.
When a positron comes into contact with an electron, they annihilate each other, releasing energy.
Look, I got a jar of positrons! I think I'll open it.

No, you fool!!

Poptronica

Poptronica is the genre of music that combines pop and electronica. It uses auto-tuned vocals, synthesized beats, and pop lyrics. It usually only takes one artist to create it. Computer skills are required, but musical talent is not.
"Hey did you hear that new song by Owl City?"

"Yeah, that's some solid poptronica!"

poetronics

An example of poetronics:

The Dancing Lady
by Anonymous

A robin travels from the alarmed Fuckmuffins,
Where the size of the revolver was all that matters
Transferring out, into the distance, the red wagon kicks.
Thrice she said with flattering hairs and horny sighs.
The day wearies, the hunting of pandas is fruitless, come to my embrace
Ecstaticness washed over she like a listless thorn,
With a youthful cluck and a magnanimous conceive we pressed onward
Cast me down from heaven for lying of dark palaces.
So deal not with this once thy glorious TV repairman.

Girlfriend Positioning System

The surreptitious use of Google Latitude on your girlfriend's phone so that you can track her whereabouts without her knowing. Tends not to work with technology-proficient girlfriends. Also requires a phone that supports Latitude, but helped by the prevalence of Android, Apple OS and Blackberry phones.

Commonly abbreviated GiPS (pronounced: jips).
John: so Carla's gone out with her friends tonight, huh? Where are they headed?

Bob: she said Misty's but, hang on - my girlfriend positioning system shows an anomaly - why is she in some random street in Hangleton???

John: dude!

Lloyd Webber's Law Of Temporal Positioning

A Law of the Theatre

This law states that "people who arrive earliest are always those with seats on the end of a row.  People who arrive latest are always those with seats in the middle."

A related law is Mackintosh's Corollary
When you arrive late, and you're sat bang in the middle of a block of seats.
