Just like the movie it is pleasant and nice. In "Pville", everyone knows everyone in the village and the High School is a mere 500 students. A spec of catholisim in an area of jews (yeah u know it Briarcliff and Chappaqua). It is made up of almost all Irish-Italians. The kids in the village drink like it's their job. Alcohol is very prevelent in a small town with five bars and a very lenient police force. Pleasantville is the ideal place to raise a family. Its very white, very catholic, and everything about it is warm and high-class.

A town that really isn't that pleasant. A small, ugly town in Westchester, nothing special about it except for the Jacob Burns Film Center, which no one in Pleasantville goes to anyway. Boring town with lots of girls with badly dyed blond hair.

Pace University, located in the heart of PLEASANTVILLE, NY.. that pretty much speaks for itself. Pace University..the biggest mistake of your life. If you're happy with drinking in one small living room at the townhouses, then this is the place for you. At Pace, you CONSTANTLY have to be worried about being written up. If you like walking up a huge hill, just to get shut down at the townhouses, this is the place for you. If you like to pregame quietly in your dorm room, only to find out that there is nothing going on, this is the place for you. You think it's going to be a good night? Think again. If you don't have a car, you're screwed. If you're thinking about going to the mall on a Saturday, have fun hopping on the shuttle, taking a train, walking 30 blocks there and back, hopping on the train again, and then waiting an hour for the shuttle to come pick you up in town, then this is the place for you. If you enjoy wildlife and nature outside your window, a farm at your convenience on campus, and running from the skunks after a long night of sitting on a couch in a "townhouse" THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! If you're okay with waiting on a 20 minute line just to order some chicken fingers and french fries, this is the place for you. A small town in Westchester, NY. Westchester is thought to be a wealthy county. This is backed by the fact it was ranked second on the top 5 wealthy county's in the USA. Thornwood is a small town that is home to Westlake High School, the Rose Hill Shopping center (a popular hang out for kids), and Westwood Country Club. Thornwood border's such towns as: Pleasantville, Valhalla, Briarcliff, and Hawthorne. The average income for Thornwood as of 2005 was $95,000 with an average house value of $850,000. Thornwood has a few different types of kids: mainly Preppy, then there are Guidos, White kids who think they are gangsta's, skaters, and a few Goths/Punk kids. You will normally see high school students driving around in BMW's and Mercedes'. Thornwood or aka "T-Wood" is a suburban town and nice place to live.
