petite bourgeoisie

In a strict Marxist sense, the petite bourgeoisie represents the middle managers who are capable of purchasing the labor power of the proletariat (working class), but also do not wholly own the means of production. The key defining factor of this group involves the attitudes, values, and opinions they support and display. Members of this social group strive to mimic the behaviors and practices of the Haute Bourgeoisie (upper class, the one percent if you will), even though their own incomes are nowhere near the level of those they deify. They often have an aggressive disdain for the poor even though most of them are a single paycheck away from joining their ranks. Modernly, most of them purchase goods and services on credit, providing for the illusion that they have the same kind of purchasing power that the wealthy do. They use this artificial purchasing power to obtain nice clothes, cars, and jewelry (swag). Most of them are social/fiscal conservatives, Social Darwinists, Objectivists/Ayn Rand fans and/or libertarians. They also have nigh-psychotic delusions of grandeur, thinking that if they just "work hard enough" that they too will join the ranks of the economic elite someday.
"So my buddy only makes 30k a year, just bought a house, a BMW, a rolex, and has a full wardrobe of designer clothes. He also lectures me every day that he 'earned it' from 'working hard' and that anyone who doesn't have what he's got is somehow inferior to him."

"petite bourgeoisie scum."

Mon petite fleur

An inaccurate way to write in French "my little flower". The correct expression is "ma petite fleur".
In French it can be used as a term of endearment, like "honey".
It can simply be your little flower, the one you need to water.
I love when you dance mon petite fleur.

Mon petite fleur is dead because I forgot to water it...

petite venison

Petite venison is hamster meat, sometimes also listed on menus as "soylent tan". It is most often prepared as breaded nuggets which are then baked or deep fried.
Fascinated, I watched her consume the whole platter of petite venison carpaccio without the benefit of utensils.

Petite Chou-Fleur

1. A French expression meaning "My little cauliflower", used as an affectionate term for loved ones, may it be family, friends, partners, et cetera.

2. Your mother
"Ah, mon petite chou-fleur. Beautiful as always."
A woman UNDER 5'4 (or 162cm), who is small-framed and, usually skinny.

All thin girls are not petite but, all petite girls aren't necessarily thin either.

(Sometimes men can be referred to as petite when they are the male equivalent of the definition above.)
Example 1: Mary-Kate Olsen is most likely petite from drug binges and malnourishment. Minh Hoa, (who lives in Vietnam) is most likely petite due to her genetics.

Example 2: Ashley is 5'6, wears size eight shoes, and weighs one-hundred pounds. She's definitely very thin but, still not petite.

Example 3: My mother weighs over one-hundred-fifty pounds but, is only 4'11 and a half. She is obese but, she still shops in the petite clothing stores because of her short stature and size five feet.
