Populism: deriving from, (Populous) pertains to a common social class of people within a nation as opposed to the elite. It is mainly a cultural political movement that has it's roots in folk or country life. The old slogan was "Vote under the Liberty Bell". Today it is showing a re-emergence in Green politics due to people wanting to bring back local farming, relieve people from oppressive government, or just to better communities. Most historians view populists as idealists, utopians, or forward thinking liberal reformers who take a centrist position between the two political wings.

A Libertarian: is somebody that upholds personal freedom to a high standard. They believe practical government is better than more, or none. They abide with the right to owning arms. They also believe in perfect liberty, if it is to ever actually be established in society.

So a Libertarian-populist would be a citizen that blends these two concepts forming some idealistic political view.
