Gainax's latest anime. A collosal mindfuck of the greatest proportions, it is deranged, crude, rude, and all in all, great fun.

It involves two angels, named Panty and Stocking. The former is a sex maniac. The latter is a gluttonous sweets lover (who possibly enjoys S&M)

They Fight Crime, or rather vengeful spirits called "Ghosts."

Oh, and the two girls are accompanied by a Hard Gay Priest (unconfirmed) named "Garterbelt" and a Gir expy named "Chuck."

The animation is done with the traditional style of western thick-line drawing.

Needless to say, it looks awesome in motion. However, the sense of humor is ripped from the worst of Western Animation, and it's not for everyone.

(P)anty (A)nd (S)tocking (W)ith (G)arterbelt

A Japanese anime series produced by Gainax, drawn in an American cartoon style with a theme of "vulgar and indecent jokes." Numerous sexual innuendos.

Characters Anarchy Panty and Anarchy Stocking, known as the Anarchy sisters, fight Ghosts in Daten City. They are supervised by Garterbelt. Panty and Stocking were kicked out of heaven, and fight Ghosts for Heaven Coins to find their way back to heaven.

One of the two demon sisters who are the primary antagonists in Gainax's new anime Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

She is fairly conservative in her attire, though both the sisters wear brown uniforms. She refers to her sister, Scanty, as "Onee-sama" or "Onee-san" translated as "Dear Sister" while Scanty always refers to her as "Kneesocks-san" (Ms. Kneesocks)

While she is usually calm, she can fly into rage that causes her to turn bright red. When informed of this she claims that she "blushes easily" and returns to her normal demeanor.

Like her sister, she has a preoccupation with rules (said in the anime as "rrrurrrus", becoming a recurring joke among fans)

The more positive side somewhere between, 'Otaku' and, 'Weebo.' Otapii are individuals who share a love or fond like for anime and manga and some Japanese things, without going too overboard, or letting it take over their lives. 'Otapii' is the good medium dividing fan from over obsessive nerd. Otapii tend to be hard to spot in a crowd as they do not draw attention to themselves and only speak about anime or Japanese related things when they are asked about them or when they absolutely have to.
Otapii are most commonly refered to as, "the cool version of Otaku.'
