A very good but horribly overated metal band. Fans of Pantera think Diamond Darrell is the greatest metal guitarist of all time yet call him dimebag, a name he generally rejected when with his friends. They also think they are superior to emo fans, when all real rock fans know they both just go /wrists but express it differently. Typical Pantera Fan - "I like Pantera and like, Slayer, and like, RIP DIMEBAG WE MISS YOU" (while taking shirt off to show tattoos)
A fan of GOOD music - "you know there wouldnt have been pantera without bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, and Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath before them. Oh, and he preferred Diamond Darrell." Heavy fucking southern heavy metal. Dimebag Darrell and his brothers being the pioneers of the band, taking the fuck the rest, we're the heavyiest shit ever, attitude. Panter is some heavy shit, Dimebag's guitar sounds like a chainsaw with strings.

BEST FUCKING HEAVY METAL BAND IN THE WORLD. they created a whole new genre, and without them all the little hardcore bands wouldn't be here today. They have a variety of sounds, each album has a different sound. They have the best line up too...best guitarist you could ask for (Dimebag Darrell), best vocalist (Phil Anselmo), best drummer (Vinnie Paul), and a damn good bassist (Rex Brown). Cowboys From Hell is the song that Pantera is widely known for.
