look up any word:
8. panic! at the disco
a once really good band and still is but is being deprived by young little trendy girls who shop at hollister as being really cool. Only to say that if you asked one of these girls what the lyrics meant, they wouldn't have a clue. they would probably also say that "I write sins not tragedies" is their best song.
trendy chick: OMG I love panic! at the disco!!!

cool chick: yeah they're cool i saw them in concert with blocparty.

trendy chick: huh what's blocparty?

cool chick: *thinking on a way to leave*

*radio turns on playing i write sins not tragedies*

trendy chick: OMG my favorite song everrrr.

cool chick: You have ruined this band for me.
9. panic! at the disco
They arn't really emo, people just see the video for "I write sins not tragedies" and say "ew person in black! EMO!". To judge an emo band, listen to the lyrics, stupid.
They don't really sound like fall out boy, in terms of their style etc. For one you can actually here what the lead of Panic! is saying, but I must say they have the same tone. I disagree with people saying they are un-talented or un-creative with music and lyrics. Their lyrics are quite sophisticated and have meaning if you listen without the constant thought of 'emo' going through your head. See the meaning of emo and then listen to Panic!, morons.
Also, the only credit they get is from their song 'I write sins not tragedies', but as another bloke said, people get annoyed because other people like the music and the band is getting some credit they deserve.
Me - i have to fill in this box -.- Panic! At The DIsco
10. panic! at the disco
One of the best bands ever. They combine techno and their own punkrockish sound to make great songs such as:

I Write Sins Not Tragedies
Build God The We'll Talk
Time To Dance
The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage

&

Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can HAve With Out Taking Her Clothes Off
Person 1: Panic! At The Disco is awsome!!!
Person 2: Yea too bad preps and other mainsteam listeners are ruining it....
11. panic! at the disco
a band that was once praised by their home base fans for having such original music and rockin out their own way. however, their home base fans seemed to have been replaced with richy riches that can afford to buy 13 tickets to the panic! at the disco show and sing along to i write sins not tragedies and stand there the rest of the concert.
New Fan of P!ATD: Like, oh em gee! that one guy in panic! at the disco is sooo hot!!! isn't is name pete wentz? i cant wait to meet him at the concert. im going to look so scene!
Home Base P!ATD fan: uh.. you mean ryan? the guitarist..of panic at the disco? pete is the bassist of fall out boy. they look nothing alike. ..
New Fan: oh yeah him... oh... YAY!
12. Panic! At The Disco
Completely over-rated. They were old almost a year ago. But all the scenesters don't really care. It went from the real fans to the Abercrombie & Fitch crowd. And somewhere inbetween, lost it's value.
1.
Scene girl: "I LOVE Panic!"
Me: "Name two songs that haven't been released as singles."
Scene girl: "Uhhh..."
Me: "Thought so."

2.
People from TV: "This new band, Panic! At The Disco... blah blah blah."
Me: "They aren't new to us real fans. Of course, though, they're new to you kids who never listen to anything BUT the singles."

3.
*Quote from Myspace*
Scene kid: "Sarah! At The Disco"
Me: Don't be so fucking stupid.
13. Panic! At The Disco
A band hailing from Las Vegas, that sounds like a dancey-poppier version of Fall Out Boy, only 10 x more repetative. Discovered by Pete Wentz OF Fall Out Boy.

After the hatred between Pete Wentz and Brandon Flowers (the Killers), Panic! released the song "London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines" with the lyrics:

<i>"Stop stalling, make a name for yourself.
Boy you better put your pen to paper, charm your way out.
If you talk you better walk you better back your shit up,
with more than good hooks while you're all under the gun.
Start talking "a sensationalist",
Only slightly clever to just a certain extent.
If you talk, you better walk, you better keep your mouth shut
With more than good hooks while you're all under the gun."</i>

Taking a stab at Brandon for being unoriginal, after the release of the Killers' song "Under The Gun", which was released only in the United Kingdom.

Which is incredibly ironic, because had it not been for Pete Wentz, the Panic! would be nowhere. And considering the fact that they're basically a creation from Pete's own pen, the pure hypocrisy of this statement is nauseating.
All of the old Panic! At The Disco fans believe that they're better than the new ones for discovering them "first".

All of the new Panic! fans are dillusional, and believe they've been fans from the beginning.

Everyone forces themselves to like them because of the catchy name and because of the fact that they most likely adore Fall Out Boy.
14. panic! at the disco
A really unique band style and lyric wise. Very catchy and fun. Their lyrics are very artsy, smart, and..I don't know the word for it, but just really amazing. They're very classy with their style too. They're different and really good.

Also, I don't get why everyone cares that Panic! at the Disco blew up like this. Just because they're played on MTV and the radio doesn't mean they suck balls now. So when you heard them on purevolume and myspace, they were good, but now that you hear the same exact songs on the radio, they suck and you hate them? Please. Get lives; there are bigger things to worry about then your favorite band blowing up so big.
Stupid Arrogant Fan: Ugh, Panic! at the Disco sucks now that they're getting a little bit more deserved recognition. All their fans are now poseurs. Now, Im going to search purevolume and myspace for hours just to find another band and support them just so I can hate them once they blow up. Sounds like fun!

Normal, has common sense person: Get a Life. Honestly.
