| 2. | frerard | ||
|
Frerard is a noun used to describe a pairing of Frank Iero and Gerard Way. Usually, this term relates to slash (homosexual) fanfiction prose or poetry, but can apply to any fan-made creation, such as video tributes, pictures and slideshows, drawings, etc.
Frerard supporters believe that Mr. Iero and Mr. Way have harbored secret feelings for eachother but have done very little to hide their passions. The most classic example of their beliefs is a moment in the music video "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," where Frank kisses Gerard on the cheek. Anti-Frerardists believe the two have a mutual, brotherly love that has no sexual desire or romantic intention. Evidence to support this fact includes a segment from an interview, in which Frank states his opinion of MCR fanfiction by explaining that despite its good-natured creativity, he would prefer it if fans would "stop making us have sex with eachother." Most Frerard fanfiction is rated NC-17 for explicit content.
Did you write another Frerard? "Frerard" is the combination of "Frank" and "Gerard"s' names. |

| 3. | slashcronym | ||
|
An acronym or abbreviation for the names of characters in a slash pairing. Many fanfiction writers make these slashcronyms because it gets the point across in shorter terms. They're also pretty fun and easy to remember, and authors who create these slashcronyms are often heroes to the fandom they write for. Frerard... Frikey... Frob... Fray... whoever created these Frank Iero slashcronyms are MCR slashcronym gods.

Pones is derived from Danny Jones & Dougie Poynter of McFLY fame, coupling the pair's last names, merging them together.
They are the most popular'slash' fandom pairing coming from the band McFLY. It is an abbreviation of 'Poynter-Jones' and can also be said as 'Joynter', reversing the dominant surname. Pones is my OTP! It's my favourite slash pairing ever!

| 5. | USUK | ||
|
A fanterm used to describe the yaoi(boyxboy) pairing of Alfred F. Jones and Arthur Kirkland, from the anime series Axis Powers Hetalia. In the series, countries are represented as "human" nations, as Alfred represents the United States of America and Arthur represents The United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland, or simply just England.
The "US" part stands for Alfred, and the "UK" part stands for Arthur. Although it is usually seen as "USUK," there is also, "UKUS." Occasionally, the order of the names makes no difference, but most of the time, it does imply who is "seme" and who is "uke" in the relationship. When "UKUS" is seen, it usually means that Arthur, or England, is being referred to as the "seme," leaving Alfred, or America, the "uke." However, "USUK" is more common. |

| 7. | FrUS | ||
|
A fanterm used to describe the yaoi (boyxboy) pairing of Francis (or Francois in some cases) Bonnefoy and Alfred F Jones, from the anime and manga series Axis Powers Hetalia. They are also called or known as the Food Lovers pair. Not as popular as some of the other fanservices, but still enough to have a multitude of fanfics and fanart. The two names are the human names of the humanized countries they personify, Francis being France and Alfred being America (USA).
The "Fr" part stands for France and the "US" for America. Most of the time, when the pairing is seen, France is the seme, or dominant one in the relationship while America is the uke, the submissive one. But, in rare occasions, the roles can be switched and France would be the uke under America. Though it is not found as much, either way are popular among the many fans that support the pairing. |
