1. Someone that starts fabricating heritage to Ireland around St. Patricks Day as an excuse to go party.
2. Someone that acts like they know the words to Irish Music while at the bar on St. Patrick's Day. Look at that guy slamming back the green beer, he's a St. Paddy's Day Poser. He told me last week that he was Polish.

the snakes out of Ireland....is now celebrated on St Paddy's Day... Saint Barry-O (aka Barack) has NOT driven the "SNAKES" out of Washington either... so let's celebrate like an Irishman - on April 1st TOO. And they both make more sense if you're drunk! {note to editors: is that politically correct enuff 4 ya? ;-) Q - Isn't this Saint Barry's Day?

The drinking holiday in State College, PA that takes place once every year, usually in February. State Patty's day was created in 2007 when Saint Patrick's Day fell on spring break. Students still wanted to celebrate the drinking holiday with their friends at school, so they created this faux-holiday. The holiday has been growing in popularity year after year but is very controversial because of the large number of people arrested and sent to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. "Hey bro, what are you doing for State Patty's Day?"
