Having surrendered all personal tastes and interests to the mediocre world of middle-American reality television, book clubs, and middle class consumerism. Implying someone is lacking any taste or sense of adventure beyond what is recommended on talkshows, women's magazines, and in shopping malls.

We visited the neighbors and their home was like walking into a furniture catalog. Man, they were so Oprah normal!

(adj.) Having surrendered all personal tastes and interests to the mediocre world of middle-American reality television, book clubs, and middle class consumerism. Implying someone is lacking any taste or sense of adventure beyond what is recommended on talkshows, women's magazines, and in shopping malls. This term implies: unsexy, dull, ignorant, cracker, middle class, and whitebread / white-bread.

When someone presumes you are, or pretends to be, intensely normal. Living in a world where only monogamous and proper sex occurs, (no group, gay or illicit) where no-one ever does drugs or speaks out politically and everyone can afford expensive furniture.

John and Mary arrive home late from a group sex hot tub party to discover their daughter's boyfriend Rocko is over visiting. Rocko is stunned as his girlfriend's parents light up a joint and offer it to him. "Why so shocked Rocko?" says John inhaling, "we're not oprah normal you know. *koff!* *koff!*"
