Unfalsifiability Does Not Equal False

A critical epistemological reminder that the inability to test or potentially disprove a claim does not automatically make that claim false. Unfalsifiability means the claim is structured in a way that resists empirical testing—it doesn't mean the claim is incorrect, meaningless, or worthless. Many important domains involve unfalsifiable claims: metaphysical beliefs, aesthetic judgments, ethical principles, mathematical axioms, and personal experiences. The statement "unfalsifiable claims are false" is itself unfalsifiable—a performative contradiction. The reminder is crucial in debates where skeptics demand falsifiability as the only criterion for truth, ignoring that falsifiability is a criterion for scientific claims, not for all claims. Unfalsifiable doesn't mean false—it means different standards apply.
"You say your spiritual experience is real. Skeptic demands: 'Prove it's false!' That's missing the point. Unfalsifiability Does Not Equal False—it means your claim isn't the kind that gets settled by experiments. Demanding falsifiability from a mystical experience is like demanding a fish to climb a tree. The claim might be true, might be false—but unfalsifiability alone doesn't decide."

five fingers are brothers, but they are not equal.

We are human beings like fingers. One-handed fingers are all fingers, but their shape and size are different. The way humans think is different, though they are all human beings.
Every man likes to marry with a woman who resembles his mother, but not every man thinks like this; or we can say, five fingers are brothers, but they are not equal.

Not all vaccines are created equal.

When non-Western home-grown—half-baked or partially trialed—vaccines are shunned even by locals, which are often donated or exported at a discounted price to developing countries that can’t afford the “safer” ones produced by the West—the top three countries involved in this vaccine diplomacy game are China, India, and Russia, whose “cheap-and-cheat” vaccines do not exude much confidence among millions of targeted recipients.
Although the Chinese, Indian, or Russian vaccines are offered free of charge to them, millions of people in the developing world refuse to be jabbed, because they know too well that not all vaccines are created equal.

Not All Pi’s Are Created Equal.

When the number pi looks so different when she dresses up in various typefaces or fonts (regular, italic, bold, bold-italic)—her facial expression or mood changes in different typographical settings.
Unlike in Helvetica or Times New Roman, the number pi looks quasi-unrecognizable in Avenir Next, be it in regular, italic, or bold. They’re not being critical when they commented that not all pi’s are created equal.

Power Couple

A relationship between two people who are equally as cool as each other. They are as individually awesome and fun to be around as they are when they are together.

Neither one depends on the other for their feelings of self worth- they know in their heart that they are just as valuable to the world as the other. Good looking, optimistic, and sparks a light in the world that people recognize that goes beyond a normal relationship.

In a power couple, if one person is flawed, the other person makes up for their weaknesses in strength. Together they are the epitome of what anyone would desire in a relationship. They encourage goodness in the world and make it a better place by being together.
I'm a fan of those two, they are such a power couple, the epitome of what anyone would want in a relationship.

I am envious of them because they are a power couple.
