A phrase used to tell someone that they are not helping with a situation, but rather making it worse.

"Dad, you know I'm starting my senior year in high school, right? Well...It's nerve-wracking."

"Oh, don't worry, son. When you're out of there, you won't have to go back! And you'll get to move out and-"

"DAD, YOU'RE NOT MAKING THIS EASIER!"

"...Oh, I see...Yes, being on your own can be more stressful than even your worst days at school. A coastal storm which forms off of the east coast of the United States. Mainly occuring around the winter months. Can produce heavy rain and/or snow. Characterized by its movement and wind direction along the coast.

Some of the largest winter storms occur from Noreasters on the east coast.

The winter storm in February of 2006 was caused by a Noreaster.
