A derogatory term used by salespeople and service providers for the educated consumer who carefully considers his or her options before deciding whether to purchase a product or service and who is not necessarily committed, at the beginning of the process, to purchasing anything at all

Slang for negro. Regularly used to beat the censors on web boards where racially inflammatory language is not permitted, or in conversation with politically-correct types.

Dickdawg is the gang slang equivalent for a male as to what a hoodrat gang slang is for a female. MEANING:An easy mark for a piece of ass. A known sexual player. Whether sleazy and high or high end they just like to have sex with a lot of people and are not picky in their preference.

noun. A person identified as an easy target, or "sucker". A mark is always the short end of a joke or scam, and is never let in on whats going on. A mark is usually being cheated out of money. It's origin is from old English traveling carnivals from the late 1800s to early 1900s, where workers would refer to people paying to see thier made up shows and games a "mark". not from urban gangsters like most people think. Mark is also the origin to the term "smark" or "smart mark" which is a person who know's he/she is being scamed.

A term coined in the mid-90's by British journalist Mark Simpson. He defined it as applying to men regardless of sexual orientation, but he first applied it to David Beckham, apparently as an alternative to “heterosexual”, with which it obviously rhymes. Mark Simpson’s definition starts: “The typical metrosexual is a young man with money to spend, living in or within easy reach of a metropolis . . .” In current use, it almost always applies to straight guys; but with the inference that their fascination with fashion and appearance matches stereotyped assumptions about gays. Thus, it's something of a third alternative to the hetero-/homosexual dichotomy: an urban straight guy with stereotypical “gay” interests. At first it was a neutral descriptive, and was jumped on by marketing types eager to start selling more overpriced clothes and skin/hair products to notoriously shopping-shy males. But as it evolved in mainstream use, the term gradually picked up a pejorative connotation, much as its close cousin, “yuppie”, did in prior decades; not because of its sexual implications, but rather because of its “snotty, rich young show-off trying too hard” image, and the vague sour-grapes suspicion that such guys get to sleep with hotter and classier women. Although the term has become pejorative, it hasn't stopped the practice. There are still plenty of metrosexuals (and yuppies); they just wouldn't want to be called that.

Used by guys who are turning gay or think they might be gay to make an easy switch from girls to guys. The transition girlfriend is usually extremely butch and masculine and would not get a boyfriend besides a man who thinks he's gay. It's pretty much the manliest woman the man can find. The next step after the transition girlfriend is a very feminine gay guy that is almost like a woman.
