a town were if your not from it you would think everyone is a rich snob, but the truth is that only about 50% of the town is rich. its true that there are snobs but not alot.

North Guilford tends to be more rural (even tho there is farms, doesnt mean that they are hicks.

a school system that isnt that great, including a high school that has mold and rotting stuff. even tho that they have one of best music programs.

The 78th largest city in the USA with about 250k people. Third largest city in North Carolina.
Formerly this city based their economy off of textiles, as the industry moved on Greensboro sustained itself through colleges. Greensboro has six colleges, and thus lots of young people. A growing town with a burgeoning downtown scene. Greensboro is growing and will continue to grow (in part) due to North Carolina's lax annexation laws.

This town is known for it's extremly expensive beach front property and high academic school systems.

Like most typical New England towns it has more than one country club and several tennis courts. If you don't own a pair of uggs you are considered poor and a rich kid might pay for your grande moccachino at starbucks in town. Starbucks is like the main place to hang out and if you think starbucks is too expensive consider yourself a social outcast. There is a high persentage of preppy kids at the private and public schools. If you don't wear ralph lauren your labled as a goth or complete loser, no exceptions.

Houses here are lots of money unless you live in a huge house in northern madison where the price value drops because your virtually a half an hour away from the beach and twon center. Our town center is dominated by coffe shops where you'll probably see 20 old farts sipping their dark cofee and discussing how they will spend their afternoon boating out on long Island sound,fart bags.

If your house is under 500,000 you are considered "low class" and probably wear Hollister to try and fit in with the preppy crowd but you are so ugly and cheap looking that no one likes you and have no friends. Madison Kids hate nothing more than Guilford kids who think they are the shit, so stay the hell away Guilford Indians!

However, if one Baltimorean is conversing with another Baltimorean about where they live then these area names become applicable. The English, and better way of spelling "Guilford". For some reason just because it has a silent d in it, the American's felt the need to take it out when they named that town near North Carolina... Anyway...
Guildford is a city near Woking, in England... People say Guildford is better, but Woking is now catching up.
Guildford has an impressive cathedral amongst other things, such as a good ice hockey team (or so they say), a fairly good college and just generally good shopping facilities.
It is also a good place to go "emo" spotting... At weekends, you will often find gangs of these so-called emos hanging around at certain places throughout the city. It is a wonderful place to waste time and is often a treat for the eyes! If you're into that sort of thing.

A small town in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. With a population 22,309, don't be fooled. This town is fucking boring. The only attractions are that old house on Main Street, the bowling alley, a roller rink, the out of date movie theatre, and Wal-Mart. The school system is shitty, and way behind the semi advanced learners of Guilford County. There are hardly any white people, because they all hate the overwhelming amount of asshole Mexicans that moved in, so they left. The entire town only has one 4-way intersection.
