Screw anybody who knocks Minneapolis. As far as it being "ghetto", there is alot of truth to that claim. It really depends on where you go in the city though, and if you have only visited for a little while then youve probly never been to the bad areas. Yes, for a big city MPLS is rather white. Its about 67% white, 17% black, 11% hispanic, 6% asian and the rest Native or mixed race. However go to North MPLS And its about 90% black. Other posters on here claim MPLS is nothin but white boy posers who think their city is ghetto.. Yea maybe around the rich lakes area, but walk down the street in ANY area of the Northside or in the Phillips neighborhood on the Southside and you'll see whats up. Drug dealers are on almost every corner, gunshots are NOT uncommon to hear day or night. Summertime is much worse but people dont care what time of year it is in the hood. In the summer of 1995 Minneapolis earned the rep "Murderapolis" this was because in the summer of 95 MPLS HAD THE HIGHEST MURDER RATE OF ANY BIG CITY IN THE COUNTRY!!! Its not nearly as bad now as it was back then, but the same things go on in the hood. I remember being in a kind of decent area on the Southside a few years back sitting in my car at a gas station. A group of about ten young black kids run up to me. The leader of the pack, who was probly no older than 10, had a wad of 20's in his hand. He says to me "ya'll got a dub ya'll got a dub?" Of course what he meant was $20 worth of weed. I declined and they wen...more...
An extremely ugly ass city with fast food Restaurants galore (steak & shake and white castles) and mean ass racist Hoosiers everywhere. Seriously I do not understand how st Louis was on the worst cities list? The city only has on an average 80-100 murders while D.C. and Baltimore or even Detroit has like 200-500 murders on average. And East STL (the only fucked up part in my opinion north stl isn’t that bad) is not STL! It is a separate independent city of its own in Illinois. Look it up.
I lived in St Louis
STL is wack
What a waste of a year
|80.||Harford County, Maryland|
Harford County was formed in 1773 from the eastern part of Baltimore County. It contains Tudor Hall, birthplace of Abraham Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth. Harford County also hosted the signers of the Bush Declaration, a precursor document to the American Revolution.
The county was named for Henry Harford (ca. 1759-1834), illegitimate son of Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore. Harford was the last Proprietary Governor of Maryland, but did not inherit his father's title because of his illegitimacy.
Havre de Grace, an incorporated city in Harford County, was once under consideration to be the capital of the United States rather than Washington, D.C.. It was favored for its strategic location at the top of the Chesapeake Bay; this location would facilitate trade while being secure in time of war. Today, the waterways around Havre de Grace have been silted, one of the primary environmental issues of Harford County.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 527 square miles (1,364 km²), of which, 440 square miles (1,140 km²) of it is land and 86 square miles (224 km²) of it (16.40%) is water.
The terrain rises in elevation and relief from south to north, with flat areas south of U.S. Route 40. The highest elevation, at 805 ft., is located near the Pennsylvania border in the county's northwestern corner. The lowest elevation is sea level along the Chesapeake Bay.
It pretty much sucks.
|81.||St. Mary's County|
A county in Maryland. Despite it getting a bad rap by snobs around DC and Baltimore, who have never been here, it is one of the fastest growing counties in the state (along with our neighbors Charles and Calvert County). We are the birthplace of religious freedom in the United States and St. Mary's City had the first coffeehouse in North America. St. Mary's resident Margaret Brent was the first woman to act as an attorney in North America. Home of the stuffed ham. Home of Patuxent River Naval Air Station...where many astronauts got their start. Without St. Mary's, Maryland would never have existed. We have rural areas as well as suburbs. We are a bedroom community for Washington DC for those who don't want to deal with Montgomery, PG, and Howard County's yuppie crap.
Person 1: Oh man, you are from St. Mary's County...aren't you all a bunch of hicks?
Person 2: No, my dad tests fighter jets and my mom is a computer systems designer. We drink lattes here too you twit.
This “center of education” houses some of the hardest partiers on the East Coast…and not in the good way. The birthplace of the term “bros & hos,” Towson is populated by Jersey trash and all the UMD rejects. If they aren’t destroying the few brain cells they have left by getting blackout drunk every night of the week, they’re down in the Baltimore club scene getting date-raped by guidos on E…..who ALSO go to Towson. The wardrobe of a Towson Girl consists of leggings (which must constantly be worn as pants), Ugg boots for the winter and flip flops for the summer (although sometimes, these girls get confused and wear those stylin’ Uggs during a 90 degree heat wave and those flip flops, that double as their shower-attire, when it torrentially rains). And don’t forget their Winter North Face coats (fake fur included) and their (way too revealing) American Apparel t-shirts for those sticky Towson summers. The Number One rule for these gals at TU is to have at least 10 pounds of makeup on at ALL times, no matter what you’re wearing, where you’re going or who you’re seeing, and your hair, no matter what texture, must be straightened at least three times a day. “Did you take your trash out yet?” “No, I’ve been straightening…duh.” And for the boys…if you aren’t sporting a skewed baseball hat and some serious bling, then you’re probably wearing athletic shorts and your frat’s t-shirt at all times. TKE! Not…For those students who only destroy their brains with alcohol on the WEEKENDS...more...

Home to the conjunction of the white elitists of the north and the black people and rednecks of the south and west. If you like any dishes with crab in them, this is the best place to get those dishes. Trust me. There is a bit of an accent in the Baltimore area, example: "Warsh the dishes with hot wooder." Go anywhere near the Chesapeake Bay and you will find a "crab shack" where the main body of the restaurant is outside, on a deck, on the bay. Main dishes are crabs, crabs, and crabs, with a side of melted butter/vinegar and extra old bay, and any lite beer you can imagine. Yummy.
