So-called music which is either someone talking (they call it rapping) about how they busted a cap in their wife's head over less than 7 seconds of unique sequences of tones (usually bass), or music where an electric guitar is strummed at 100% total harmonic distortion and someone screams worshipping praise to Satan but you can't understand them and it sounds like they are trying to throw up.

Rap has no true emotion behind it. True composers like Gustav Mahler and Dmitri Shostakovich were intelligent and put real emotion into their music. Rap doesn't have any feeling so it makes you think of nothing while you are listening to it. Classical does contain lyrics in the case of Opera and Church music and if you don’t understand the language, that’s YOUR fault!

The majority of listeners are intelligent people who refuse to listen to Rap because of how bad it sounds. Classical music is still being composed today and has never been better. Some modern composers are Leondard Bernstein and John Rutter.

Everybody knows that Rappers got famous because the majority of moron Americans would rather listen to “Come and lick my lollipop, you ho!” rather than listen to true beautiful emotion classical music.

A new, very boring type of hip hop. Some ppl might say that it is related to crunk music but it isnt. Crunk music is high energy and wild, snap music is the exact opposite. Snap music is boring. Everyone in the club is doing the same thing. How gay. Southern rap is suppose to be high energy but the ATL wants to change all that and bring in boring ass snap music. O well, ATL can snap & lean all they want but Memphis is still gon keep it crunk!

A simplistic form of "music", involving the extremely basic drum beats (which are sampled, so really all you do is press a button). Features pathetic basslines and sampled keyboard pieces, with the occasional scratching disc. The focus of this style of "music" is actually the lyrics, apparently, because there is no actual talent involved in the rythmn section. The "music" sets out to make the "rapper" rap his words fast, which makes the words indistinguishable and they lose all meaning, most people have to actually read the lyrics to even grasp the meaning of the song at all.
