1. Non-Monogamy
A sexual relationship that doesn't disallow sexual expression or affection with other partners. This may present itself in many forms and many kinds of lifestyles including but not limited to swinging, polyamory, polygamy, open relationships, or simply couples having an occasional -threesome. Yes, even if you romantically kiss only one other person while in a sexual relationship with with someone else, you are exhibiting a behavior that is clearly not monogamy.
We're mostly monogamous but sometimes we like to invite another woman into our bed, so I guess that makes us non-monogmists.

Every year we get crazy and allow each other one night of non-monogamy action.
2. nomo
Nomo is short for "non-monogamy" or "non-monogamous." It is a term that is gaining acceptance in the alternative lifestyle community, particularly among those who reject the term "swinger" to describe their sexual practices but do not identify as polyamorists.

The ironic play on the word "normal" in "nomo" also appeals to non-monogamous couples who otherwise live in the mainstream (i.e., are married, have children, etc.).
Julie and Patrick are a nomo couple. Sarah is their girlfriend.
3. Dirty Monogamy
This term refers to couples that engage in deviant sexual acts and practices for physical pleasure and/or a psychological thrill. The sexual acts and practices may involve other people, animals, and/or inanimate objects. Also, they may be consensual/non-consensual, distressing, extremely dangerous, disturbing, and/or socially inappropriate. Dirty Monogamy includes (but not limited to):

Voyeurism

Exhibitionism

Frotteurism

Fetishism

Pedophilia

Masochism

Sadism

4. DES
Acronym. Discerning Ethical Slut. A person, usually female, engaging in consensual non-monogamy, but is characteristically selective with whom s/he has relations and thus will have fewer partners than the typical slut. Variation of "ethical slut," a term from the 1997 Dossie Easton narrative "The Ethical Slut."
Jane is a DES because she has been engaged in consensual non-monogamous simultaneous relationships with John, Rick and Steve, who all possess characteristics necessary for her to date someone: wealthy, attractive, intelligent.
5. Atraditional
A concept, idea, thought, action, process, item, etc that is not traditional. Similar to atypical but in terms of traditions of a culture, society, or group.
* Polyamory (or ethical non-monogamy) is an atradtional relationship model.
* Paganism is an atradtional religion.
* Eating a roasted pig with an apple in its mouth, on Thanksgiving, would be an atraditional meal on that day.
6. swingrich
A "swingrich" is a cpos/adulterer masquerading as a swinger/polyamorous person. As defined by Dan Savage and commenters of his Savage Love Blog (Jan 2012)
"I thought he was ethically non-monogamous but he was just a swingrich."
7. Quaple
Quaple

2 sets of couples who are in a romantic relationship together. Beyond just swinging or swapping wives or other ethically non-monogamous relationships 'quaple' indicates both partners are interested in relating to both other partners on a mental, emotional and sexual level but together. Quaple indicates a certain committment beyond playing and while non-traditional a quaple feels very much like a man dating a woman only there are two of everything and everyone is comfortable with it. True partners for life expressing their individual desires and nature as one but to another couple.
"Steve, Marie, Lynn and Lee, have been together as a quaple now for almost a year"
