Nominalism

Originating in the teachings of the eleventh-century scholastic philosopher Roscellinus, whose Latin formula was, 'universalis sunt nomina.' (universes are only names.)
This philosophical movement of sophists was based on the view that there is a profusion of "truths" - perhaps as many as there are people to believe them - but no single, final Truth, and that language makes its own reality.

Through the Nominalism idea, an argument, however firmly it seems to stand up, however watertight its logic, can always be demolished by contrary argument, if made by a skilled debater. - Man is the measure of all things.

Every angle can supported in some way by infinite interpretations. Therefore falsehood and truth parish.
Nominalism:

What about someone who believes in beautiful things, but doesn't believe in the beautiful itself…? Don't you think he is living in a dream rather than a wakened state? (Republic 476c)

mathematical nominalism

A theory which states that the infinite planes inside of a circle (transfinite space) are orthogonal to the uncountable perimeters of the self-same circle.

Furthermore that the diameter of the universe is 10^14 Planck lengths.
Mathematical nominalism is a corollary of perimeter theory; which states that one perimeter of the circle contains uncountable perimeters.

Mathematical nominalism asserts that infinity and uncountability are separated by 10^14 Planck lengths--a distance equivalent to the entire diameter of the universe.

trans nominalism

A hypothesis that each 'kind' of animal as described in Noah's Ark's story and the creation story is a metaphor for a language-class; for instance nouns, verbs, adverbs, pronouns, and adjectives.
In trans nominalism (transnominalism) the creation story is a parable for the creation of language.

In other words, the "animals" are figures of speech for 'figures of speech.'

Power Couple

A relationship between two people who are equally as cool as each other. They are as individually awesome and fun to be around as they are when they are together.

Neither one depends on the other for their feelings of self worth- they know in their heart that they are just as valuable to the world as the other. Good looking, optimistic, and sparks a light in the world that people recognize that goes beyond a normal relationship.

In a power couple, if one person is flawed, the other person makes up for their weaknesses in strength. Together they are the epitome of what anyone would desire in a relationship. They encourage goodness in the world and make it a better place by being together.
I'm a fan of those two, they are such a power couple, the epitome of what anyone would want in a relationship.

I am envious of them because they are a power couple.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
