Notification Squad

A comment on a YouTube video made by some needy person who hasn't grown up yet. The person does it for attention from the YouTuber and others or they do it because they are just plain stupid. Normally it is both.
"OH MY GOSH! Am I the ONLY ONE who hasn't seen this video yet ? (view count: 1,744) WHERE'S MY NOTIFICATION SQUAD?!!?!1!1/!1"

"I'm needy and want attention, so I think I will spam the comments section. NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD NOTIFICATION SQUAD !"

notification hangover

When you turn on the phone and it starts throwing up tons of notifications.
Me: Let me just turn on my phone in class... no one will ever know
*turns on phone*
*phone starts having notification hangover*
*phone makes loud noises*
Me: shit.

notification zone

When you read a message from the notification center but don't reply to it. You're not technically 'seen-ing' the person but notification zoning them.
Ugh, another message from Ashley. I'll just notification zone her.

Nazification

The process that occurred in 1930s and 1940s Germany as all the schools, youth clubs, textbooks and resources were infiltrated by Hitler’s propaganda that was built on “Nazi Race Science.”
The new version of Germany’s past and future went through a Nazification process when all of the old books and resources were burned and Jewish children were placed in separate classrooms.

Notification collector

Notification collector: someone who deliberately leaves chats on delivered or snaps unopened in order to gain a high number of notifications, this adds to their pride/arrogance. This is regarded as fake snapchat bait because you are purposely collecting notifications, not all may be recent therefore it is a fake bait concept.
She’s a ‘notification collector’ she leaves her dms and chats unopened to look cool

fake notification

Mostly used by macintosh users.

While listening to a podcast or any other audiomaterial hearing the twitterific-, mail-, ichat-, adium-, skype-,
or whatever notification sound from one of the podcasting people and thinking it's a sound from your own computer
– but it is not.

It's related to notification paranoia.
Paul: "Everytime I'm listening to the RebelFM podcast I hear my mailprogram receiving new mails, but It didn't."

Mary: "So you fall for a fake notification?"

Paul: "Wait a sec, I heard a bird tweating"
