look up any word:
1. National Parking
The act of going to many National Parks.
They're going National Parking in Colorado this winter.
2. Paul D. Hoffman
Paul Hoffman is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parksas well as the former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Capital, Performance, and Partnerships in 2008. He worked under Dick Cheney in the Bush Administration.

He has been mentioned in the media as: "Destroying the National Parks" in the New York Times in an editorials in August 29, 2005, as well as: "Who's Ruining Our National Parks?" in an article in Vanity Fair in June 7, 2006.

Not many peoepl outside of the sphere of the national parks know him or anything about him at all. He has been demonized in some spheres as being the worst thing to have happened to national parks. While not all of what is said out there is accurate it by no means alleviates him of anything.

He is a prideful and arrogant person. He is full of himself and gloats over his vast knowledge. He is very hung up over the past and despite being retired, still participates in the worthless squabble that is local politics in an effort to feel big and important. He currently runs his own blog called "Talk It Up America" in which he still shouts his political opinion for the handful of people that will listen.

3. Yosemite National Park
First of all: Old Faithful is NOT in Yosemite, it's in Yellowstone...Yosemite is an amazing and beautiful place. It's where nature and people can come together and for the most part live peacefully amongst each other. Black bears, deer, eagles, mountain lions, and other birds and rodents can be found at Yosemite. Squirrels are very popular. If you're looking for a bear, it's not too hard to find one. Deer are very used to humans, but you can never trust a wild animal. Respect the park's animals and you should be fine. Yosemite has some amazing waterfalls and rivers, but they are seasonal waterfalls so the best time to view Bridalveil Falls or Yosemite Falls would be in the Spring. But be very careful many people try to climb on the slippery rocks to get a closer view of the waterfalls. People have died from climbing rocks by waterfalls or from swimming in the lakes so be very cautious. If you go to Yosemite you will most likely be staying in the valley. You can see all of the outstanding rock formations from around the park. Half Dome and El Capitan are very popular The viewing spots are a good idea if you're looking for a good family picture or just an amazing picture. There are many activities in Yosemite, hiking, camping, swimming, rock climbing, rafting, skiing, horseback riding, nature watching. The tour guides are informative; they tell a lot of interesting stories. Glacier Point is a spot that everyone who goes to Yosemite should see.
Yosemite National Park is an amazing experience. Everyone should go there at least once in their life. I'm definitely going back.

Warning: If you go to Yosemite, watch out of bears and other animals that cross the roads because many bears are killed or orphaned each year. They put of signs where bears have been hit and killed by cars.
4. Touron
The derogatory term combines the words "Tourist" with "Moron" to describe any person who, while on vacation, commits an act of pure stupidity.

The term has its roots in the resort, park service and service industries and can easily be dated back at least as far as the mid 1970's. It is widely used throughout the US, but may not be in general use by mainstream society.

Mostly an inside "Joke", created to vent emotion when dealing with the public.

In Yosemite National Park, "Tourons" regularly block access into the park by stopping on the single lane road to take pictures of wildlife.

"Tourist, Please leave your brain before entering " was the sign in an underground cartoon in Yosemite in the late 1980s. It depicted the entrance to the park with a park service employee leaning out the gate to accept the brain of a tourist driving a Volkswagen Beetle. Another sign in the cartoon read "Night Drop".

The cartoon was seen in both park service and concessions offices during that period and reflects the over all harmless, yet critical view of people who forget how to act in public.

The "Touron" asked the Ranger when the deer were released for viewing.
5. Manitoba
Manitoba - Eastern most of the four Western Provinces of Canada. There are two beautiful National Parks: Riding Mountain National Park, which is a mixture of boreal forest and aspen parkland. Topographically diverse thanks to ancient glaciers, and home to elk, Wolf, Whitetail Deer, Bison, Moose, Lynx, Mountain Lion, Black Bear, and Coyote. Wapusk National Park is locate near Hudson's Bay and is a great place to view polar bears and beluga whales. Few places are as diverse as Manitoba, as it contains Canadian Shield, Rolling and often jaggedly hilly prairie, Desert, boreal Forest and Tundra. Winnipeg, the capitol, has over 700,000 residents. The summers are boiling hot, and the winters are equally cold. This city has great art and music scenes, as well as wonderful dining and nightlife. As with any city there are places you should avoid, but it seems many people dwell on this fact. Manitobans love sports and festivals, and take great pride in the diversity and multiculturalism of their province. Manitoba is a great place.
Just google:

6. environmentalist
One who does not think people have enough restrictions on them already.
An individual who lives in the Eastern US, who thinks he is helping to stop the evil developers from paving over our national parks, but is actually supporting restricting access to vast portions of the West to a few hardy individualls willing to hike in 20 miles with a backpack.
I used to love going there on vacation, but because of the environmentalists, I can't get there anymore!
