Is a pioneering force in the reggae music industry!
It all began over 40 years ago with reggae pioneers, Vincent Chin and his wife Patricia (their initials leading to the name "VP"), in their native Kingston, Jamaica. Mr. Chin received his first taste of the music business maintaining the jukeboxes at bars around the island. This led his creative and enterprising mind to recognize the opportunity to sell the old records that would otherwise be discarded for new ones. The entrepreneurial couple quickly learned hands-on the business of music merchandising.
the most slickly marked bunch of sellouts in the music business. the g-unit sold 50 trillion copies of their records to fans that bought it cause of slick marketing techniques. the g unit is a record label success story because they whored themselves at every turn. thanks g unit for selling out the business
50 cent quote - "Ill go on tv, ill continue making music, ill do whatever, as long as they're paying me." Sellout!!!!
shaq is completely right. mtv sucks. they ruined this powerful form of expression. they should be put out of business because of their ability to whore themselves at every turn and to try and control the direction that music is going in. www.realmusiccrusaders.com - fighting to save music from sellout corporate record labels.
thanks mtv....for completely ruining music for everyone you bunch of corporate sellout whores!!

With a combination of a sexy voice (I can say that even though I'm a guy because it's what it is), great vocals, and just raw talent, Gavin DegRaw is one great rookie of the music business.
Gavin DeGraw, hailing from South Fallsburg, New York (near The Catskills Mountains, close to my hometown), was born in February of 1977 to a prison-guard father, and specialist mother.
Signed with "J Records", his album, "Chariot", has sold roughly 800,000 copies, and counting...
For those who are stuck on "I Don't Wanna Be", and "Chariot", you haven't heard a snippet of it! Listen to songs like...
"More than Anyone"
"(Nice to Meet You) Anyway"
He's also done many acoustic versions of songs, as well as many remakes of past great songs such as "A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cook, and an awesome remake of "We Are the Champions
Show business is a vernacular term for the business of entertainment. It tends to refer to the agents, managers, production and distribution companies that are in the business of entertainment; it can also include the artists and performers involved. It applies to all aspects of live 'shows', from cinema to television to theater to music.
There's no business like show business
A really cool group of people that are also known as African-Americans. This is a race that has produced great music, awesome athletes, numerous intellectuals and scholars, hilarious comedy, excellent soldiers, and so much more. Most of them are fun to be around, likeable, and funny. The ones in the music business are talented with all kinds of instruments and they really can sing.
I love black peoples; I just wish that there were more of them who were Republicans though.
ok, i read most of the people's definition here, well first i'm actually on nobody's side i think both, that hilary duff is good and bad. well her music are nice, and also at the same time she changed a lot after she got a deal in the music business, and its obvious that she got it because she was famous already , but the songs that she sings, most of them are nice, its true that some songs; their lyrics are not well written . i mean there are much better lyrics out there. however its not only hermore...
(hilary duff ) that is like that , most people that are becoming singers and are actors at the same time are like her , and you know who i mean lindsay lohan , ashlee simpson , and i prefer to listen to people who sings live, cause lets just all admit it here , now most artist sings the same way the song is , i mean that if the singer is moving a lot their voice have at least to sound tired cause they're moving and singing at the same time, and not always, always singing the same way , everwhere , unless you're hearing the music video , and honestly i can tell if the singer is lip synching or actually singing live , and most people can tell too, cause its easy to tell and know. Anyways, hilary duff already mentioned that without her sister and her mom , there would be no her and thats true because her sister started acting and singing first and hilary wanted to do that , so yeah . i dont really hate hilary and i dont really like her, i just think that most of her songs are nice.
