multicultural society isn't defined yet, but these are close:
1. multicultural
'multi-' is a combining form meaning more than one or two.

'cultural' is the adjective of 'culture' - synonym: 'civilization'

'multicultural' stands for many different 'civilizations' ~ 'nations'
It was rather a multicultural society we grew up in.

Our teachers taught us that the heart and the spirit determine an individual and not the looks.
2. society
1)
The 'society' is a number of persons regarded as constituting a single group or community.

2)
The complex of factors, as activities, attitudes, and environment, characterizing any such group.

3)
The worldwide community made up of all human beings.
It was rather a multicultural society we grew up in.
3. cultural mosaic
A society of people of different ethnicities, all generally maintaining their individual culture and language rather than assimilating into the culture around them.
In 1938 Scottish-Canadian writer John Murray Gibbon described Canada's developing multicultural society as a cultural mosaic to differentiate it from the perceived melting pot of the United States.
4. diversity
Something White people hate and feel that every single black person who is in university or at a high paying job didn't earn that position. Even though they know little of that person's life.

What makes a society great but white people are afraid of it.
A bunch of skinheads attacked a black kid on a university campus. The black kid then had to apologize to the skinheads who handed his ass to him.

Diversity
5. Aussie
Nowadays used to describe an Australian of Anglo and/or Caucasian/White appearance or background. I am a Sydney-Sider and this view is most prominent in the youth. But in saying this I cannot speak with absolute certainty whether this perception is Australian wide (Although I have friends and relatives in every State and Territory who are aware of this view). I personally resent this label as a way of identifying the "Anglo/White" community as, I myself come from a Latino background but was BORN and BRED here in Australia and feel as much "aussie" as any other Australian! Australia is a multicultural country and no matter our background/race we are ALL the same nationality! When we go overseas and tell people our nationality we say we are AUSSIE and this is how the rest of the world sees us, AS AUSSIES!!!
1) You ask ANY kid of ANY background who is a aussie and they will tell you someone who is most likely of "first fleet/convict" descent or a "White person" who's close to it. We also use the term "natio/nasho" to ask each other what background we are, when in fact most of us are ALL the same nationality(natio/nasho) which is aussie
2) The older generations will most likely know what you are talking about but do not share the same critical belief that only "White/Anglo" people are aussies as our parents have a stronger sense of being an "aussie"
3) If Australians as a community need to have a way of identifying so-called "Aussies" I think we should reclaim the less common word "Skip" so aussie can be inclusive to all backgrounds
4) No matter whether you be a Latino, African, Fob, Abo, Azn or Wog we are all aussie!
6. Canada
Canada is a coutry North of the United States which likes to blame all its problems on its southern neighbour but lets face it we have our own problems which were completely Canadian made and maintained. We claim to be a multicultural society but historically we attempted to block cultures which were not white European ones (ie. Chinese, East Indian, Japanese). We also have a horrific history of attempting to Annihilate first Nations Culture which continues to this day in government policies. We are a people that are so proud that we used to be #1 instead of horrified at the injustices that exist which lowered our status. Our government is little better than the American one we mock so freely and yet we stand and claim superiority when we should be standing together to fight the systemic racisms and other immense injustices our coutry is modelled on.
During WWII Japanese Canadians were segregated from Canadian society because they were to close to being the actual enemy but German Canadians faced no such segregation and were even welcomed into the Canadian military. Canadians believe in a Canada based on lies.
7. Leb
Leb n. 1. An abbreviated name used colloquially for people from Lebanon or of Lebanese extraction, 2. A derogatory name given to people of Lebanese extraction who are immigrants to or children of Lebanese immigrants in Australia and who conduct themselves in a manner conspicuously anti-social and who are commonly associated with bad taste. Broadly, they are people of Middle-Eastern appearance who usually have an Islamic upbringing, have a chip on their shoulder and who feel bigotry is their prerogative. Lebs usually conduct themselves in groups and work to intimidate others. In Australia, the term "Leb" connotes criminal, thief, geek, coward, racist, thug, one with a lack of culture, one with a lack of education, one who practices intimidation when in a group with other Lebs or with a weapon or when concealed, and someone who discriminates against Australians (non-Lebanese). The term "Leb" has been acquired as a descriptor by the broader community of people of Lebanese extraction and the like after a reputation was earned in the community, notably in Sydney, over a number of years as the sub-group became distinguished by gang-bashings, car-theft and car re-birthing, gun crime, and in particular gang rapes (See: Bilal Skaf) and the Revenge Attacks of December 2005 in connection with the Cronulla Riot. The announcement by the Head of Islam in Australia who led the Lebanese Muslim community that it was okay for Muslim men to rape non-Muslim women in his infamous "Catsmeat" se...
