a wretched piece of shit that passes for a romantic thriller movie that was released with great fanfare in 1986. It stars Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger as 2 lovers in a relationship dominated by a kinky, sometimes violent eroticism punctuated with sadomasochistic flourishes. A waste of time, effort and money. 9 1/2 Weeks is a horrible, lousy movie, but it has a good soundtrack. The soundtrack features prime cuts like "I Do What I Do" by John Taylor of Duran Duran, "Slave to Love" by Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music, as well as nice tunes by Corey Hart, Luba, Devo, the Eurythmics and more. Check out the soundtrack and skip the crap flick.

a guy who you will always love to be around because of his rocking personality but occasionally you turn to him when you crave a hookup. You will always love him but the circumstances do not allow you to have a true relationship so you treasure the intimate times you share but know you cannot get fully attached. This is often the case with couples who break up.. " You're my part-time lover and a full time friend" from the song by the moldy peaches.. featured in the movie Juno :)
-my ex boyfriend Max is my part-time lover and my full time friend. He's such as sweet guy and a the best romantic partner but he lives to far away to be my man. |

| 6. | Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) | ||
|
Launched as a sister network to the well-known "Lifetime" cable channel. It started in June of 1998 and nothing much has changed about the network other than the network expanded the movie time slots from 105 minutes to 120 minutes to accomodate more advertising. It professes through its network promos that it shows movies "24/7" although every morning at 2:30 there is a slew of infomercials. The overall theme of the network is simply movies for women and to a marginal extent "female empowerment". A good portion of its movies come from the original Lifetime network, others are made-for-tv movies from other networks, and there are some (but few) select theatrical films. All the movies aired on LMN have at the very best C-grade cinematography, C-grade acting, C-grade script, and just has an overall "generic" feel. The types of movies LMN shows is just drama and only drama but to appear more "sophisticated" the LMN online schedule breaks down Drama into several sub-categories such as "Inspiring, Love/Lust, Justice, Thrilling, Madness, and Vengeance". The whole network is like an analogy of a soap opera. Every movie has pretty much the same concept but different version. The overall plot formula for these movies is: woman or woman's family member gets into a situation throughout the whole movie the woman and/or her family members struggles to overcome the problem. Bottom line, the network just shows a bunch of garbage that is no different than reading cheap romance novels or t... more...

I know that loads of haters will go aginst me but I don't care. Twilight is a book / movie about a girl named Isabella Swan who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington and meets the strange Edward Cullen. She knows that he is different and wants to find out what he really is. After he saves her from being crusshed by a car with inhuman speed and strength, she knows that he is not human. She finds out from her (soon to be werewolf) friend Jacob Black, that the Cullen family, supposedly consisting of two adults and five adopted teenagers, are vampires. Edward admits to it and tells her to keep away from him, as her blood appeals to him more than anyone else's. The Cullens are 'vegetarian' vampires, meaning that they don't drink human blood as they want to be good vampires. Of course Bella can't keep away from Edward, and her life suddenly becomes endangered when a sadistic vampire called James decides to kill her. her life is saved, once again, by Edward. The other books in the series are New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. The movie of the first book, the one I just described, Twilight, has been made and the others will be soon. In my opinion, the Twilight series are great and if you haven't read them, I would. You should read the Twilight books and see the movie, they are all great
