Compressed dust and grime that builds up on the rollers in an old-style ball mouse, frequently causing the mouse to perform less than optimally. One must usually scrape the material off the rollers with one's fingernail. Hold on, my pointer's jumping all over the place... I've got a serious case of mouse boogers here.
