The term derives from the great fall of Molengrad after the sacred army's of Molen where defeated in a campaign that lasted well over a thousand years. The war saw a great loss of life on both sides haunting many generations, but the battle of Molengrad was pivotal to end the war. When the battle was concluded and the corpses settled and rotted, buildings of great history reduced to black sand and ruin, and the red river turned into a bog hellscape. No people of any nation wanted the land, it was a common taboo to even mention such a name.
