The act of gathering and interacting to play iPods or other portable music devices at a party through main speakers instead of individual headphones. Similar to the jukebox but modernized for dj culture. The term is used for various public iPod parties around the world.

Electronic Game, the modernized term for video-gaming. Primarily utilized in situations where the term video-games is not wholely comprising of it's medium.

Battle-Jesus is the modernized savior from old. This version of Jesus tots a handgun, and tots an Uzi. Instead of the peaceful all-loving savior we are used to knowing, Battle-Jesus faces you with fire and brimestone. Destroying the sinners, and cleansing the world of all evil. This meaning that only hippies will be left, because they just sit around and smoke dope, and love the trees. And the bible aint saying nothin bout tree-sex.

Though, there have been, of course, varied versions of Battle-Jesus made throughout the course of history. Most notabley, a GI Joe Jesus figure.

Backpacker:
1. Originally a coined slang term from the 1980s for a graffiti artist that always kept a backpack on containing his finite music collection and more importantly his rattle cans, markers, and spray tips.
Although, mainly his music collection is what defines him/her as a backpacker. Most likely the music collection will consist of usually local underground rap/hip-hop music artists only. The sub-genre or sub-categoration of the music means nothing, as long as they are a local unsigned (no recording contract) artist.
A backpackers music selections are based upon three principals: 1) no mainstream, 2) you could never buy the music in a store, and 3) the music was given/sold to them "hand-to-hand" from the originating recording artist.

2. Modernly used derogatory term to describe someone who listens ONLY to Independent rap/hip-hop music, specifically (but not limited to) the nerd-rap sub-genre of the rap/hip-hop music. Most often used in reference to (but not limited by) white sub-urbanite rap/hip-hop music listeners that tend to dislike mainstream rap/hip-hop music, specifically (but not limited to) Gangsta rap.

A federal constitutional monarchy that is located on the northern half of the North American continent, and continues into the arctic circle and on towards the North Pole.

It has ten provinces, three territories, and is an officially bilingual and multicultural country (English and French), as both these ideals are enshrined in it's constitution. Canada is largely a resource economy, with vast reserves of natural gas, oil, nickel, uranium, and other minerals. Interesting fact: Canada at present emits more carbon into the atmosphere per capita than the United States.

At present, Canada does not have nuclear weapons capability, and has no plans to do so in the foreseeable future due to it's close proximity to a country with a huge nuclear capabilty that dwarfs all other nations.

Canada's rather small but disciplined military is playing a more active role in protecting it's northern boundaries, due to the untapped economic potential of natural resources and, interestingly, the possible future development of the North West passage as a viable direct transportation link between North America and Eurasia, as a result of global warning trends in that region.

Canada's forces are also playing an active role in Afghanistan (as of March 2007), where it's ground forces are engaged in fighting Taliban. This is a very devisive topic for many Canadians, many of them wondering why we are fighting a group of people who were at one time funded by the U.S. (see The Mujahadeen)...

Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Formed in 1875 to keep the law in the Yukon, and Northwest Territories. originally the North-West Mounted Police, until 1878 when they recieved a royal charter by HM the King, and became the Royal North West Mounted Police, then in 1879, the RCMP. The early recruiters looked for a tall man 6'3 or so, with excellent equestrian skills. This can today be seen in the famous 'Musical Ride' The original uniform of a Red Surge, blue breeches, and a stetson was normal attire until the 1980s when a more modernized police uniform was introduced, the red-surge is now only used for ceremonial purposes. The Mounted Police now serve as Canada's police force, both Federal, and for provinces which do not have their own police force, and still, although now in modern vehicles instead of horses, keep the law in the Northwest Territories.
