A member of a social atmosphere without a particular group. A mingler simply wanders from group to group. He or she may be friends with jocks as well as nerds, goths as well as preps. The enmity between the groups which he or she befriends themselves do not concern a mingler. They are society's neutrals, and generally very outgoing with an individual sense of style.
Everybody knows a minglers name, and so they make for good conversation between "enemies". In a more confined social setting, in which people are divided physically into groups, a mingler often alternates positions. They might hang with the rockers one moment and help nerds with their homework the next. Often their skills are very diverce.

To join or take part with others, often gossiping. Minglers loves to talk, especially about business, politics, or any other issue related to business or economics. They are usually the center of attention at a party and have an affable manner. However, that is the appearance they wish for you to believe. Minglers is also quite good at listening, and is looking out for any information that the corporation can use, do not trust them.

Croney mingler refers to groups of people who gather in public areas and occupy space without an ostensible purpose. This term most often refers to people between the ages of 12 and 20, the unemployed and or trustees who coalesce in public places such as shopping centres, parks, or cafés. Crony mingling can also be quite prevalent in areas that have heavy tourist traffic, i.e., beach towns, ski towns or small historical towns where bored aimless locals are attracted by a continual influx of non-locals with whom they can interact for entertainment value. Often this interaction is one sided and involves incredulous looks, smirks and a palpable air of their own coolness that radiates around an approximate twenty foot radius of any given space where they stand. Crony minglers are generally harmless and if treated with caution and respect can often be quite helpful with information on where to acquire black market goods.
