A Mexican is a person from Mexico, the only country south of the USA border (unless you count parts of Canada being under Alaska). It's a nationality and not a race. Mexicans can be of any race while most of them are a mix of Spanish and the Native people which explains why some Mexicans look like Native Americans.

Most Americans, including Mexican-Americans, are ignorant and think all hispanic people are Mexican and that all Mexicans are one race of people that spoke Spanish since the begining of time and before Christopher Colombus arrived. That obviously is not true.

An oxymoron used to describe an American who is from or ancestors were from Mexico. Mexican is a nationality and colonial identity, but not an ethnicity. One cannot be a citizen of Mexico and a citizen of the United States at the same time. One can be from one of the ethnic groups indigenous to Mexico and be a citizen of the United States.

One can be Mayan-American, Nahuatl-American, Zapotec-American, etc., but not Mexican-American.

Many so called Mexican-Americans are descendants of the Spanish colonial population. They cannot be called Spanish-American as Spanish is not a distinct ethnicity but a national and colonial identity as well. They fall under the category of "White".

The correct spelling is actually "guero." It's used by mexicans to describe a man with light complexion and blond hair. The only reason why it's spelled "weto" by these dumb shit heads is because they are probably mexican americans who watch way too much BET and talk black. They basically forgot to write and speak in spanish.

Old Navy clothing stores. Old Navy is highly frequented by Mexican Americans due to the lower prices and relatively fashionable clothes. Do not even consider going to an Old Navy in the SW United States during any clearance sales lest you wait 4 hours to check out. You can also tell a Mexican Gap by how disorderly the clothes are arranged 30 minutes after opening, because Mexicans consider it a big flea-market where they can throw clothes on the floor they don't intend to purchase.
