When a band try mixing genres and it's too much, just making unrecognizable noise.
G: have you heard OL's new album?
S: Yeah, i couldn't figure out if i like it or not, sounded like a metal blender.
(pronounced like "loss") vb. Also: WoSsing, WoSsed.
To mix the music in a concert so badly as to crate a Wall of Sound. Occurs most often in Metal shows, but can happen anywhere there's a terrible mixer.
Dude, I was so psyched for the Mars Volta show, but then the mixer totally WoSsed it. That ruined my night.
Interjection used primarily among fans of Metal in response to something hardcore or extreme. To be uttered in a low, gruff tone while throwing the horns.
An homage to one of the most Maiden bands of all time; Iron Maiden
"Holy shit dude, did you just see that old lady get hit by a cement mixer?"

The "noise prayer" is a position wherein a performer has his (or her) hands crossed, usually at or near the wrists (one on a mixer and the other on an instrument), and head bowed (either looking at the instrument, the mixer, or simply absorbing the moment.
Now that was an intense "no input mixer" set; dude even had the noise prayer going for 30 of the 35 minutes of his singular feedback tone.
