| 1. | I-Mail | ||
|
"Idiot Mail" or the endless amount of ridiculous and inane email one receives from idiots all day long, especially at work or in a corporate context. "I just got a bunch of I-mails from that idiot in marketing" or "why does corporate insist on I-mailing us this crap all day long?"

| 3. | Pirate Marketing | ||
|
A term describing the so-called "marketing strategy" of spammers who "advertise" or plug) their products and services by using people’s email addresses to send out bulk mail messages to all the contacts they've hijacked, pretending the email was written by the person who's identity they have hacked into. This is done to suggest a person has tried and tested the product and to spread bogus word of mouth virally. This is entirely fraudulent and can potentially hurt a person’s reputation, but thankfully this method is used by individuals and groups who are just as stupid as the people they are trying to scam (i.e. catering to the lowest denominator). For this reason, the spam message itself is usually as easy to detect as the cheap knockoffs (or stolen goods) they are trying to unload on unsuspecting victims. Here is a prime example of pirate marketing allegedly sent from a friend:

| 5. | exspamaganza | ||
|
An extravagant display of junk mail extolling the benefits of Viagra, hoodia and the Atkins Diet mixed in with an assortment of cheap corporate holiday e-cards, dating site registration forms, emails that if not sent kill you and ceaseless instalments of your varsity newsletter. Exspamaganzas occur most often after prolonged vacations, hacking and the issuing of your email address to random, though often good-looking, promotions personnel. Ohmigosh, I made the mistake of giving Date-A-Mate my email address and now whenever I hit refresh it’s an exspamaganza.
Dude, you need to put a junk filter on your mail account otherwise when you sign in after Easter Break you're in for a total exspamaganza! |

A personal computer for people who are not interested in hobbyist computing; such users want to write e-mail, browse the Internet, and make light use of office applications, but they do not want to learn details about the computer or spend time maintaining it. Grandfather doesn't want a fancy computer and doesn't want anything complicated. He only wants a home kiosk that he can use to send e-mail to the family and check news and weather on the Web.
