A boarding school from the outside perspective is a school that's for parents that care about their kids getting the best of their education. A boarding school from the inside perspective (the one which I go to) is quite an ordinary school like any others. The differences is that there are more diverse groups, and at the same time these groups have a tendency to self-segregate themselves by language barriers/likeliness, although with some overlapping. There are the same "weed, drug, smoke, alcohol, sex" people, nevertheless some of them are responsible, some are not (given the laws of their native countries). There are greater expenditures spent on facilities and technology (like Smart Boards/Laptops for everyone/etc), but at the same time theres Internet Censorship (blocking i.e. websense). There are some mandatory practices depending on what school you go to, such as joining a club/activity, playing sports, going to chapel, etc. Some schools have more extracurriculars than others, and some schools have varying degrees of freedom for students. Most people at the boarding schools dislike the schedule/routine/rules involved such as curfew, staying after 3/4pm, weekend school, etc. Yes, there are rich people (who own farms, businesses, mansions, private jets), but these are also a minority. At least 30% or typically on scholarships or financial assistance, and I have not found any notable differences. I have heard from my friends that the girls here are "harder to get", more "bitchy", alas whether thats true or not, its up to you to decide.
Most boarding schools do try to bullshit on their brochure a lot on traditions, upstanding values, and extraordinary/exemplary civilized students; which most of the case is probably not true, but there are students like that anywhere, which is not limited to just boarding schools. You do meet people all over the world, but there are little differences, with the exception of minor lifestyle changes that people experience such as schedule shifts, servants/rules, etc. Unfortunately, when I look back at the year books from earlier years, most of the students tend to be homogenous in nature with respect to ethnicity. (White, rich, has some of that early styles hair); but the landscape has significantly changed, given that there are Asians, Blacks, Whites, Africans, Anglos, etc. |

| 324. | Courrier Lane | ||
|
A wealthy street in the Gordon Woods community of Mississauga, Ontario. Courrier Lane along with neighboring street are the typical plastic suburb setting, McMansions lining the streets with their leased luxury cars. Most houses in this area back onto a ravine or golf course. Blond housewifes stay home and clean all day while their husbands work in Downtown Toronto since there is no jobs in Mississauga. Also everyone thinks their ontop of the world because they have their million dollar houses. No one really cares, because no one other than Courrier Laners know about this area. Stuck up snobs. Toronto kid "Wanna go to a courrier lane house party?"
other kids "No way man, too snobby" |

A suck ass poor town in Massachusetts. The schools are shit, the teachers aren't certified, and are mostly whores. There are about 3 dunkin donuts on every corner. Half the town is ghetto, if you go near the Lowell border there is a lot of car accidents, gangs, shootings. Also near Walmart is a ghetto. hobos and niggers live on the train tracks, Houses are torn apart, the streets aren't paved, most people are drug addicts, no cops there, and no stores. there is only 2 fires stations in tewksbury which is y there is a fire almost everyday that they cant put out. The cops suck. In north tewksbury it is just a bunch of rich ass white wiggers that live in mansions or condos. In south tewksbury tewksbury kids and wilmington kids have gang wars, and most people down their smoke weed. The sports in tewksbury are horrible. The fields are a piece of shit. If you go on livingston street you will most likely be mugged by a nigger or hobo. how many market baskets are in tewksbury

| 326. | LOHAS | ||
|
The Babbitt of the new century. Young and well educated small families who promote an eco-ideology. You can usually find them in the shiny quarters of New York, London or Berlin. They promote ethics of natural food and low co2, which are whether affordable nor desireable towards joesixpack. LOHAS are self-righteous. While eating sophisticated organic stuff, they still fly around the world and inhabit vast mansions. Their default revolutionary tactic is the carrotmob. The straight opposite of the phoney LOHAS are the humble LOVOS. Damn Lohas! All good vegs are sold out again.

A hellish freak show of epic proportions. Town of around 150,000 people all unemployed drunks. Taxes are high, but offset by the ridiculously low home prices. Victorian mansions can be bought for $20,000. A lot of nigs, hillbillies, and spics. Not much to do other than crime. Russel: I just bought a victorian mansion for $20,000 but there's a crackhead squatter in here that shit all over the walls.
Fat Sweede: Thats Rockford for you |

East Islip is very wealthy town located on the south shore of Long Island. Almost everyone who lives in East Islip owns boats, jet-skis and have really nice cars. Many of the people who live there are not "stuck up". Everyone lives very comfortably and enjoys what they have without feeling the need to boast in other people's faces about how much money they have. Most of the homes south of Mountauk Highway, primarily Hollins Lane, Dock Rd, Bayview Avenue, Deer Run, Percy Williams and the Moorings are large luxurious homes and mansions. East Islip is located right on the Great South Bay which is were a lot of families dock their boats and travel to Fire Island and other surrounding areas frequently during the summer months. East Islip is a great place to grow up and live. East Islip- "A community by the bay."

California is to the United States as Italy is to Europe. Both have the following features: - completely dysfunctional government - too much debt - declining economy - endemic corruption - beautiful landscapes and coastlines - agriculture: olives, wine, citrus fruits, cheese, tomatoes - natives feel it is important to look good - natives drive like maniacs in heavy traffic but somehow avoid running into each other - too many illegal immigrants - rich people with mansions on a cliff overlooking the ocean - earthquakes and volcanoes - nice weather, hot in the summer, rain in the winter - skiing in the mountains - swarmed by tourists in the summer - foodies - Western movies are filmed there Video: good looking guy or gal with a tan, wearing sunglasses and a very nice shirt, talking on cell phone while driving, says "Ciao", hangs up, changes lanes abruptly. They drive through a run down suburb populated mostly by olive-skinned people with black hair. They drive towards the mountains. The sunlight is dazzling. The landscape is hilly and dry. The car is a BMW 3-series.
Observer A: that must be Italy Observer B: no, the buildings are new. It is California. |
