When a man and women have an infant together and they want to leave the house for a very short time. Generally its a friend of the man, who is also male will man-sit for the couple. This particular male cannot for all purposes do anything except call the couple if the baby starts crying. Laura: Honey, I am going to the drug store down the street for a minute.
Joe: Ok I will go with you. Mike will be our man-sitter. Laura: I'm not sure about that. Joe: Don't worry we will only be gone for 15 minutes and he will call us if the baby does anything. |
